Hello how are you all doing? I hope everything is good for you all? This week went really well for us it was a great week for us , our investigador who was smoking was baptised yesterday. So it went really well..

Well we just got news that my companion is leaving to parana , i am getting a new compa, tomorrow , his name is elder Reyes, i believe he is from chile, so we will see...who knows maybe he will be my last companion for my mission who knows.
So everything is going to go good i hope lol

Other then that this week has been a normal i must say , then the rest lol , we were just helping our inv. Get to his baptism, and he made it lol ;) this week is going to be different and all with a new companion will see how it goes..

I am glad to see that you all are going to utah this week i hope you the best in travel , i know you will be fine in the travel. Hopefully all the lil kids like it lol tell everyone hey and hello for me if you all can it would be a great help.. i hope that dad can find a job soon to help him not be so down , i ll be keeping him in my prayers, is there any thing else i should pray for.

I hope this week goes good for you all and everything. I am sure we will be fine down here , no need to worry about me down here .. i love you all , to the depths of my heart, and soul.

i must say let our love be our great work here in are lives , so that we can show are faith through are love to are god and his son, and to others... through service etc... this is are true purpose in life to love are god and all of are neighbors. It is the biggest law of them all. I must say this is the purpose of are live to love the one that created us in the start.

Family and friends i love you all i am going to try and finish this mission of to my lord off very strong. If there is any thing you all need let me know of how i may be of any help to you all as my family. So let my love be with you all..

The Lord is Really Working Miracles in My Mission

Familia,

Everything is going good for us down here in Argentina i must say. This past week went pretty well i must say , we had a lil bit of everything i must say the work is still progressing. I must say that i am doing good and all.

I must say that this week our inv. Stopped smokinng , which is way good i must say , but the thing is he using the pipe and its helping him not buy cigs.. but we are still fighting with him on that he is due to be baptised this coming week end on the 18 so hopeful he can make it to that date. So hopefully he can make it i am pretty sure that he will i must say . so we are in constant contact with him and trying to help him out all the time i must say.

As far as the flu thing its going on still down here it looks like its dying down a lil too or at least i hope so. None of us are sick in any way , we are all doing good , but the weather has been way cold i must say , way cold nothing like summer weather over there. Must say though the cold weather will pass though i must say...with time..

I MUST SAY THAT IT S SO CRAZY THAT THE LIL GUYS ARE ALL TALKING NOW ITS GOING TO BE SO WEIRD WHEN I GET BACK HOME I MUST SAY AND HERE THEM TALKING . sorry about the big letters.. its just some thing i am going to have to get used to i must say when i get back home lol. So what you going to do right lol

I must say tha this next coming week is already the end of the transfer i must say the time has flown by in the past couple of trasnfers . i must say that i am really y trying to gt the best out of my mission right now i must say. I just want to give it all to the lord my good..

I AM going to keep you all in my prayer especial dad so that he can get a good work going , i must say i have heard that this crirsis is bad but i still dont know how bad it is , is it really that bad that everyone seems to say it is? I hope that its not to bad ..

The lord is really workng miracules in my mission i must say . i love this great and wonderful work of the lord i must say theere is nothing like it at alll. Its such a great time in my life to be here doing this great cause for my Lord in his time of my life.

How Fast Time Goes

Family ,

I am glad to see that everything is going well for you all back home. I must say this week went pretty good for us I must say its great. The week was way good I must say . our investigator is dropping in cig. Por day we are way excited for him I must say. So that s big news down here as well..

Well this week we had a lot of things going on in area area, the big thing that is going on in this part of the world is the grepe A that all the people are scared of down here I must say there has been a total of 10 deaths here in rosario I believe , and everyone is going crazy in every matter. I must say we are protecting ourselves in all matters but the people are just scared period. So that is the big news down here on that matter. So I am pretty sure you all have heard about it I must say. So yeah….

Well to say the truth mom the video that you all did was pretty funny I must say , good job. It was quite funny I must say. O thanks for sending me the money I must say hopefully I get it soon. So I know I ll use it wisely down here . so don’t worry about that lol . thanks a lot though mom seriously…

It was a normal week I must say we had a great inv. Go to church this past week , for his second time., he is omar he needs to get married but he I s slowly progressing in this gospel , they are due to get married in dec. but we want to try to get the before that date I must say , but it’s a ll matter of patience.. in the work…

Transfers

Familia,

Hello what a very interesting morning i must say , the lord totally though me off on this very day of transfers i must say i am leaving my area , i was Orly here for one transfer , i leaving my position and going back down to district leader , in the area of Azenenaga , in rosario osete.. my new companion is Elder Rivera.. a latin but I have no idea where from…

I must say I did not get any letter from you this week family ,but its fine no worries the week went really well we gave some people some fechas to be baptized in the area , I m just kinda sad that I am not going to see theses people get into the water, they are really good people I must say..a really good family.. o well the lord wants me some where else in this mission , I am just going to serve him with everything that I got I must say. So sometimes the Lord just has different things for us planned out in our lives. I must say it s a crazy thing…

So mom I must say that everything went really good I must say . the mission is good I am a lil shocked with the whole new change , it totally through me off guard I must say . but I am still enjoying it , the lord has other people for me to teach and find hear in his areas . I must say that the Gospel never changes but the people we teach it to does. I must say that I know the Lord has something good for me planed in the area of Azcuénaga .

I must say that the mission has totally thrown me off but I must say that's the way it is the lord has his own will and its that one that counts I must say. Not the will of men. There is a huge part of me that does not believe this lol . I kinda shocked …

O well just got to do what the lord ask us to do. I must say though this past transfer was a great one the lord made me feel like I never have before in my life , I must say that he knew what he was doing that whole time I must say.. he helped me grow a lot in this short time of 6 weeks here in arroyito , the lord know s his stuff , in his great work.
I must say that I never doubt his calling for me I this will of his work . I must say that it is what he wants us to do and only he knows this purpose…..

We al know that it is the will of the father that counts i must say as this story goes on we all know it and how it ends, let us use this as a example to keep doing the will of the father in are daily lives each and everyday. I must say even if its not what we wt to do I must say. The lord always knows whats best for us in are own lifes..

Family I love you tons I always will I must say.. there is also another change in the mission , that next week p day is changing to the day of Wednesday, from this coming week and fro the rest of my mission… transfers were the reson why ia m writing a lil bit latter then normal. I must say sorry that I did not tell you all last week…

Transfers, Zone Leader

Family,

Thanks mom for sending me the package ,last week , hopefully I'll get it when i go to misión conference. That’s right mission conference.. there has been a change in my mission now, we had transfers,I just got the news today… I am leaving Salto, and my Companion ELDER Machuca who I got along with so well. I am leaving to Rosario again the lord wants me there, but not just as a district leader , but as a Zone Leader I moved up ,its where the Lord wants me.. my new companion is Elder Gygi , I don’t know any thing about him ,I'll be telling you more next week.

So I must say the Lord wants me somewhere else to be working. I know there is nothing I can't do with out him. He will help me in this new calling as a Zone Leader .. to help the zone . One thing that I have come to learn in the mission is that I am always number 3. My Lord is number 1, the Others are number 2, then it is I Elder Jessup as 3. I know that I am going to try and do everything for that zone of Rosario Norte.. I trust in my dear Lord. I must say I do feel a a little scared about the whole going up, but I like the advice of dad and I am going to put that as a goal for my last 6-5 months of the mission. I shall follow the words of my father..

I also liked the advice of Bro. Albab, the 3 things each have a great purpose and I am sure that they will help me out as the Lords missionary. So I must say I am feeling the load of becoming a even higher leader in the mission. One thing that I know is it's where the Lord wants me , and I will obey, as Nephi said….

(…For what I seal on earth ,shall be brought against you at the judgment bar; for thus hath the Lord commanded me, and I must obey, Amen…2 Nephi 33: 15..)

Well family the week for us did not go all that bad at all. We had a very good week a lot of knocking , and getting in a couple of doors. I must say the week went by fast,to tell the truth. We also had a ward activity in Salto, but very few people showed up to say the truth, but the night and the activity went very well , we taught the Atonement. Then later in the night we watched the Testaments, went all in all very well. I must say that I feel quite well leaving this area of Salto. I leave it in good hands and I completed a lot of the work that we needed to do here in Salto.. the time went well in the ways of the lord. I feel that he is happy with the work that I did for him here.

Family I want to thank you all for your great help, and support in my time as a missionary, cuz I know with out you I wouldn’t be here. And my be would not be here , I want to thank you all for what you have done for me , in serving me and supporting me , in my life and mission. I love you all thank you so much..

Great Conference

How are you all doing? Its so glad to hear from you all. I must say this week went well i must say. The Orly thing is that we are still trying to find people , is are main struggle down here in Salto. The conference was just Amazing i must say. The message i think that all the missionaries liked was that by Packer , in the last session. I must say it hit home for us , not just us but to those all over the World.

I must say the joy to hear the servants of the lord was a honor , for the lord is using them to speak to his children in these latter days, that we are in. I must say it was a great week end i must say ,just to hear the servants of the Lord our God. I must say it is a thing of great peace to are souls..

As far as the card mom if you can send it this week Express mail, it would be great , so that i can get it on the 16 of april for zone conference , but you have to send it Fast so that i can get it by that date, sooo please send soon.. so please.. i FORGOT TO TELL YOU that yes i did get the packages and the Money, please make sure to tell Lupe thank you for the ties and that i love them and m using them well. I must say it was a great pleaser to open those boxes …thank you tons from the soul..

Its good to hear that everyone is doing well, from cliff to Sheldon, to Mom and Dad. Its a joy to ones soul , i must say , even great to hear that tia is doing better , that is a big worry, to one tell her i miss that great food that she cooked , so much better then the food down hear lol.. and that i love her.. and that i miss her…

I must say that i am doing really well, i am just a lil scared cuz this week i hit 1 year and 6 months in the mission , i am getting really old Fast, its crazy i must say, i just want to do all that i can for the lord in this time that i have left…( brother any tips will be highly favored..) thank you , just to help me focus on the work on some days..my mind just start thinking about alter the mission sometimes and i don't like it . so any tips will be a great help.. so please …tips

I must say i doing pretty good health wise i am just fighting with a lil runny nose and a lil cough, which always happens to me when the climate starts to change down here , w are now in fall…how crazy..but i love it…and i have been really good on my workouts cuz i am at the time of the mission now…( 6 months to sexy..) as its own around the missions. But i have Only seen one elder do it… i have faith and hope that i will be number 2 lol So thats really how the life is going on in the mission , a lot of f work and working out . but its all for the Great plan of are lord, and his great purpose, so thats why i am pretty much a happy lil kid in the work of the lord. To tell you the truth i got my comp. So tried today in the morning , cuz wants to drop weight .. lol so he asked for me help….and i am helping..

Familia,

Hello how are you all? I am glad to see that everything is going well for you all over there in your neck of the woods..I must say that this transfer went by pretty fast, and so did the week. This week a lot of stuff ended up happening with us from my comp being sick , all the way down to transfers, just all types stuff.. My compa, had to go to Rosario cuz he was sick from the throat, and he had to see the doctor for a real bad sore throat, so while he was in Rosario I was in Pergamino, with some elders from my district, working. Also this week we got the news for transfers, and it turns out he is going to be leaving to Rosario to the office and I am going to be getting a Latin named Machuca , I have no idea where he is from , or anything.. I think form Chile or Peru.. but no idea..

So I must say that this week it was a lot a lot that was going on but in the end it turned out pretty well I must say. I did get the chance to help out a Hermana with her bike this week which was really cool , and helped me realize how much I miss my bikes lol , How are they? Being taken care off I hope..:) Also I read a unreal amazing great book that Elder Kite let me barrow , its called “ As a Man Thinketh” also “ As a Man Thinketh Volume 2” by James Allen the both, family I must tell you I have never come to realize the great and grand influence , and cause that thoughts have on are lives, I highly recommend to find and read this books to the whole family you all will love them. The author is not a member but everything that he says in the books goes perfectly in line with what the church teaches..My mind utterly changed the way of thinking sense then . They are 2 must reads for you all..Must do…

This past week we did have a great turn out at church it was so great, we had a total of 3 women come into church Sunday. I must say the whole barrio was just amazed it was quite interesting, they all started to get excited and wanting to help I must say ,it was a great sight I must say… they are investigators that we found in the start of the transfer , but they came to church and they loved it , but as you can see its just a matter of having patience I must say here. They will come it just takes sometime I must say. So I must say we may just become the planters right now , but they will grow into great fruits I know it and I can see it in are people… so lil bylil the great things will come to pass ..

Well family I am sending some photos from a activity that we had while my comp was in ROSARIO and I in Pergamino. The game that we had was a ring toss, the name of the game was El anillo volante, just through rings on to some bottles, then you win stuff really simple and it turned out to be a great hit with everyone I must say…

Great Fruits Have Come Forth

Family,

How is everything going for you all? I must say that everything is really well in the mission, we just had a baptism this past week , which I must say was a great experiences for me. Also the ward is doing really well I must say. I must tell you mom that there is no need to worry about the food hear I am eating so much with the members that we are doing quite well lol, probably on of my best areas for lunch wise lol. So mom no need to worry there lol . its so crazy to hear what is going on in mexico right now I had no idea it has gotten to be so bad over there. It sounds really intense I must say. But I know if we trust in the lord he will trust in us and help us in are times of need and protection. So mom just keep strong to that faith that you have ok. I am glad to hear that dad is a normal level and working hard at the ranch. Tell him to keep it up and that I ll be helping him when I get back, tell him I am starting to miss that hard ranch work to tell you the truth I really never thought I would say a phrase as that , but sometimes life is full of surprises..lol.

As of the ward that I am in its doing really good I must say , the bishop is a great man , his name is Obispo Scalea Last name from italy , but he is just a man that you can look at his face and just see that he is a man that is doing everything for his young big family, I must say I have a true respect for this man. He is a trucker so he is always on the road , a busy busy man..
The rest of the ward is just great I must say, but about two or so weeks ago we had are mission leader leave on us a and move to Buenos Aires, and he also took the president of the relief society to which is his wife, so we are with out a mission leader now, but we will do fine we trust highly in are lord. So that’s really how the ward is, small but really good I must say.

But I am going to tell you about the baptism that we had tis past week.. ok so when we go to start filling up the pelta, with water I was sitting there fighting the water heater for about 1 hour trying to get the darn pilot light to stay on and it never did, so we ended up filling the pelta with cold water, we thought it would be fine it was a hot day.. lol so when it came time for the baptism I was the frist one to walk into the water I was going to guide Jesus into the water, the boy did not want to go in g the water was that cold.. so I talked him into it and he finally ended up getting into it with me. When I was helping get into position , and about to start the prayer I paused before I started, as I began to start the prayer I immediately began to feel the water around us both become to feel very warm I must say I have never felt such a thing in my life it was utterly amazing I must say.. so I know the lord was happy with what we have been doing the past couple of weeks, as we have worked , in that moment I knew that the lord was pleased with our labor as a companionship.. I must say the water became warm cuz of the spirit of the lord that gave us that great feeling. I never have had such a great experience in my mission like that..

So I must say this week was a great week but now we are back at the start , we got to start from starch a gain , I trust in the lord he will help us find his chosen children in this area. Let are faith be with in him and let his spirit guide us and radiate from us in his great and holy work.. its such a great feeling to be in this great cause.

Family I love you all I just wanted to tell that the week was good and that we got to see a great fruit at the end of the week. So family I love you all o so much , I know that you all are praying for me as I for you , let the lord guide us together in are lives .. I love you all to the depths of my heart..

Keep strong in this great faith , of which the Lord has so graciously given us , in our lives. Let us give thanks to on high for his great works in are lives..

Thanks Fam...Big 21 Doesn't Feel Like It

How are you all , thanks for the Birthday letter.. its was a really good week i must say, it was a hot week but a good one i might say. I did not get the birthday Packaged that you dent me mom i going to have to wait a while for it tell the next zone conference, which i 'don't know when it is.. so thats the news on that..but ether way we still had a good birth day i must say. the truth on how we spent are b day , was working are butts-off, i have never got home from a day of work so tired i know that it was the way the lord wanted us to spend are Birthday. I must say i was a rough day for us lol but a good one at that.. but it was all good i must say..

The week for us went really good we were preparing a kid to be baptized , for this week , his name is jesus, he is 9 years old, and he should be getting baptised this Saturday, so we are way excited, for the lil guy. I must say he is a good kid . so that is something new that is going on with us down here in salto.. everything is way tranquilo as everyone says down here. I must say that there is a another thing that they changed this past week, that was that they changed are horario of the mission.. 6:30 to 10.30 cuz before we were 7-11 in are days , and now they want us working outsider Turing the sesta, unlike before were we were in the pinch. Studying.. so thats a lil bit of a change i must say for us now. So i must say family that everything is going darn well in the mission..

Mom about your question on how is my love for the people , i must say its exploding out of control, i have so much love for theses people that i serving, its un real, Orly the lords Could have given me so much love for all theses people. The lord has helped me come with a love so pure for all theses people, i must say.. i truly do enjoy it…

That s crazy to here that the doc for tila lila is from argentina.. that is so cool you all are going to be hearing that Accent when i get back to the house , so be excited lol . i must say it throws people of at frist when they frist hear it.. but i love the Accent of the people, the sh…lol do yeah you all should find out where he is from.. it will be cool…

I must say i glad to see that everything is going good for her with the health issue, i glad to see her getting better, each week , mom you should tell her hi for me also to the rest f the family, tell them all hi and give them a huge for me.. i must say i miss all the family at times its crazy but i just got to keep moving on and keep working for the lord.
The lord wants me here and i shall do his great work for him..

I love you all family i miss you tons just like i am sure that you all miss me, i just want to tell you all that i love you tons and that i pray for you all everyday. I know that the lord is protecting you all each and every day while i am on n the mission, here in argentina.

It Does Not Really Matter How Hard Times Are...

Familia,

How is everything going? This week was a great week , every night we got home just straight dead tired. We have been working really hard all week long to see the fruits of the labors, we had one investigator in church , a kid that we are teaching named Jesus, so we had Jesus in church this past week! lol. But I must truly say I am starting to truly like this barrio and this town of which I am in, its more like a lil city, but its so laid back and mellow…..I want to live here , now thats just shooting for the moon…lol

I must say that the mission is really going pretty good over here in the city of Salto, Argentina.. my comp, and I are doing really well , he's a good guy.. we are really getting along together.. the crazy thing that I still can't get over is that he and I have the same birth day, the 27 of Feb..I almost wonder if that's why the president put us together???..I must say its really crazy…lol

What is really so crazy is that this area is extremely peaceful, I have never seen a area so laid back especially coming from a area as busy as Santa Fe , the capital.. everything was so fast there compared to here… it's a whole different World compared to the big two cities I was previously in. So its nothing like those cities…but its a great place…the work is a lil bit hard but its fine I cuz I know that the Lord has children here in this area of His…for the Lord knows the children that he wants in church , we just got to be bold enough and invite them unto the Lord.. so I must say we just got to put are shoulder to the Wheel and Start pushing Right?

For life is a tough thing and this is coming from your lil brother , I know that you all have more experience but I just thought I would say just keep going strong in the faith that our great parents taught us sense we have been young..

Family I know that we will all pull through these times that we are facing us, and we will grow like the Lord wants us to, only the Lord knows how we will grow as he tests our faith in Him…

It's a Whole Different World

Hey how is everything going back at home? Everything going good back home i hope so .. i must say this new area of mine is totally different from what i am used to i must say. It feels like i am outsider of the mission. Its a whole different World i must say..lol

My new comp is a cool guy he is from Orlando Florida, his name Is elder Kite , his dad i a x NBA player , Greg Kite… how crazy is that… he is the frist one to head out of his family , and the third of 10 kids.. Big family.. i must say he is a really good kid , its really pretty crazy that him and i have the same Birth day… thats rite the same Birth day , i think thats why the president put us together lol… but he turns 20 and i will be hitting 21…i am soooo old lol..

But as of now we are doing really good together i must say.. the Orly thing id that the area is a lil hard hearted i must say.. Its a place called Salto , it s a town of about 40 thousand people , pretty big for 2 elders.. nut the good thing is that its not as hot ass Santa Fe is , its at the very south of the mission , in the Provence of Buenos Aires.. so now i can say i have been in all 3 provinces of the mission. .. but all in all it a good area. The lord wants me here for a reason i must go forth and carry out his great work.. in this area…i know i must keep the purpose in my heart..

So as long as i keep up the right attitude it should be fine i must say the lord puts in areas to test us a to make us grow in the mission and i life..do i hope the new area has the people Ready to hear the gospel of the lord cuz i am going to bring it to them…lol

But i know with the help of the lord that my companion and i are going to be able to find the people in the area of Salto.. elder kite and i are going to do good i can fell it , for the transfer , here.. i know that his a good guy and he did not like his last comp. So i am going to try and do everything for the better of the companionship… so that s what i am going to be doing as the senior comp…

Familia,

Well hello how are you all doing i am so glad that everything is going well at home. This week was a better week i must say. We had a total of 3 investigators, in church, which was really relieving and good i must say. We did get the transfers and i am leaving i am going down to Pergamino in the south of the mission, its in the third province of the mission, so now i can say i have served in all the provinces of the mission. Entre Rios , Santa Fe , and now Buenos Aires… how crazy i must say.. so i Hill be getting a new companion, his named elder Tite , no idea who he is. Also my companion is getting a new comp named elder Leal, a latin so he is going to jump right into spanish now he will do fine… i positive.

I must say i am pretty sad that i am going to be leaving Santa Fe , i really wanted to stay here in this area.. this is the first time i have ever felt the pain of leaving so strong in one area, i truly loved this area, of Pompeya. I am going to miss the members of the area to the hot hot sun burning down on us each and everyday . the whole vibe of Santa Fe is a amazing and i love it. The whole thing i must say is going to be a sad depart from here….. i know its going to be tough and that the lord will help us get through it and help the members that we leave behind and recent converts… i know the lord will take care of this very area…

I must leave to serve the lord and for i am after all in his great work. I know he knows what is best for me a parents to a child , so i must say that i will do his will. For i am in the great work of his i and i know that he has people waiting for me there, and that i must help them there, as we move forward in this work..

As of my birth day i truly don't know of anything that i World need or want… wait i just lied i World like more ties and socks…. Yeah for sure thats it… .. that is all i ask i must say..

The Power of a Journal

Hello how are you all doing.. i glad to here that everyone had a good week.. but a hard week i must say we had a rouge spot in the mission or in this area. This week not one of our investigators showed up to church today , it was a huge bust i must say.. so it was a lil bit of f a down fall i must say to see not one person showed up.
So i must say this week me and my comp are going to work even harder so that we don't have to fell like that in church again…

I must say the people that we have almost feel as if they stopped progressing in the work or in the teachings i must say , we are trying to work more and more with some of the members but it doe not seem. To go anywhere. Like the work is like at a stand still. I must say its frustrating for the both of us.. The store of the past are just making things really hard for the work to progress. I must say there are a lot of rumors going on inside of the barrio, and contention , its making work really hard but we are going to do the best that week can… while we are here. I must say i really hope i stay here even longer so that we can start to gain more confidence of the members in are barrio. In this coming week we have transfers on the 2nd of Feb. So i could be spending it some where else, but i love this area so much i really want to stay here in Santa Fe, in Pompeya….i just love the people i must say in this area and in these city.. brain storm happing in the moment, just like book of Mormon….

The reason i have chosen that scripture is that alma goes to the city two times to preach the gospel, so that the people can here the Word. Me elder jessup I'm n my second time in santa Fe , but not just in the city but in the same zone of Norte, the lord really wants me here for a reason i must complete , al this just hit me right now i must say i love it , WHEN THAT HAPPENS… the lord wants me to do the best of what i can while i am here…

Family thank you for everything of which you all have done for me . I love you all i must say you are all a big part of the motivation to get out of the bed some days, i just think of all the blessings that we have received , in the family and i know that there are people waiting for these same blessing as us as a family have received, here in argentina…. So i get out of bed to g go to the streets to help theses children of the Lord that are waiting for him…

Family i got good news.. i am now starting my Third journal of my mission , the one you all sent me for christmas, i wrote the first entry today, i must say the love i have truly found for a journal is utterly amazing. Just the staff i come to know as i write on those blank papers my mind just goes to everything that happened to me and how i saw that lord in my life on that very day. The beauty of a journal is being able to look in your past and come to realize everything you learned , as you went through trials , or just great experiences in life , not only that but future generations will be able be touched by your own entry, if you all don't have a journal my family , i recommend go getting one , it really is a great thing in life to see of ones self… i know that the prophets have told us to have one for a very reason…… i stand as a testimony to journals, a great work in ones life. I tell you at first it does not seem. To go any where , but it does in the long run.. I tell you family i have never come to realize so much staff in my life tell i wrote i ton to see Blank pieces of paper, in my journals… its a record of are life for the future to read and learn.. just as the scriptures are to us from 1000 plus years ago today… i love keeping a up to date journal one of the better things i have done in my life …. Thanks dad for buying my very frist one , the big red one , and thanks to cliff for letting me see your very own mission journals , to motivate your younger brother…

I just wanted to share something that has helped me grow so much in my mission. I did not think that blank papers would end up being the answers to so many questions that i once had in my life. I tell you all that it has helped me learn and grow all at once in those simple min. of time each and every day. I ask you all a very simple question to end:

We Must All Be of Good Cheer No Matter What

Familia,
How are you all doing up there in El Paso Texas..? it sounds like everything is going good in life.. I am glad to see that the ward enjoyed the cabin in new Mexico . The snow sounds like a never-land down here . its been sooooo hot the past week here, right now we are in the hottest time of the year.. January and February.. I'm extremely excited for the heat that is coming up lol

… This week was a hard week in the Lords work, it was just one of those weeks in the Lord work. We worked and worked , but we really did not see the fruits of our work, we a had very little attendance in church , but it just went to show us who truly are the investigators that are willing to change.. I must say that we lost a lot of them that were "progamados" or people who have accepted a date to be baptised. Due to one being juntos with a girl and having two kids, and not married. Then another one due to the fact that its her 15th BD on the 23 , so we may have to wait another week for her on that matter. It was just a tuff week in the labor of the Lord I must say. This week we are going to have to work at full speed, or work extremely hard to find some new people to teach. So if you all can remember to keep us in your prayers we would, be very grateful .. Don't you all worry I still keep you in my prayers every night . I must say the work is hard but we must all be of good cheer no matter what.. Mom you would be proud of me, I am now using a rubber band and my wrist to help me to think positive, and you flick it every-time a negative thought gets in your head. And its really funny cuz everyone in the ward is asking me if i am trying to cut the blood to my arm, then I tell them what its for and they love the whole idea of it, so maybe in a couple of weeks I'll see the youth with rubber bands all around .. lol all from a lil thing that you sent me so long a go…… thanks Mom…;)

We Must Always "Grow" Our Testimony

Family,
Hello how is everything going for you all? I must say it was good to hear your voice on christmas day. That was a pretty much all we did for christmas day. We just stayed in the apartment. Sorry that you all had to wait so long to get this email, its cuz are p day was not tell Thursday, and vences Thursday was the 1st not one caber was open, so we got permission to write to re families today.

I must say the mission is going really well , i cant believe how long its been now lol , this next week i ll be hitting a year and 3 months. It does fly by i must really say. My companion is dong really good i must say he is really excited for the work ,that he is just starting. He is the same age as me 20 and he is from Bluffdale UTAh, in the SALT lake area.. He is a big boy I am not going to lie.. quite big! I have never seen some one with such a big drive to learn a language. The poor guy does not really understand a lot of what the people are telling him. I have to translate for him , but its just a matter of time in the mission and he will start understanding more and more. So I am going to be helping him out in the language area. I remember when I was starting my mission as well...pretty crazy.

Well I must say the mission is going really good I love the area I am in there is tons of work to be done , in the barrio. We have quite a bit of investigators that we can help out in this transfer, so hopefully we can do everything for the people we have. But even in our own times in the mission or in life we must always grow our testimony as of when Nephi first got his ( …Y sucedió que yo , Nefi siendo muy joven todavía aunque grande en estatura , y teniendo grandes deseos de conocer los misterios de dios , clame por tanto al Señor , y he aquí que el me visito y enternecio mi corazon , de modo que crei todas las palabras que mi padre habia hablado , asi que no me rebele en contra de el como lo habian hecho mis hermanos…. 1Nefi 2: 16..) let us all rebuild are testimonies to help us from falling in to the temptations of the World so that we may be strong in this holy path and that we may not fall off..

Mom i have been going to the bank , put it keeps telling me that there is no Money, I wanted to ask if you have put any Money in or if you forgot to, cuz I was waiting for it but never CAME. One more thing I world like from my family is if someone can take some time and set me up another email, so that i can have a different one to give to people , when i leave the areas… pretty please can someone do that then pass me everything…. Baptism

Family,

Its so good to hear from you all. I am glad to see that everything is going good at home. I am glad to see that in all matters in all situations that you are all being protected from the powers from on high. I am glad to hear of everything. Its really scary but at the same time its a true blessing to have the companion of the Holy Ghost.

This past week was a good week for us , we had a baptism of a family of tour, the Vega Family.. i must say it was Such a great thing to see a family make that leap of faith, into the church. The family is a really good family, they all seem. To have a really good testimony of the church. So that was last week on Saturday night. The ward seem. To be really excited i must say to see them finally become members. So that was a huge thing to see, it was also my very frist family that we have found and baptised in my mission.

I must say though the next day was the better day when we got to confirm the family members of the church of Jesus christ of alter day saints , and give to them the holy ghost. So that was another frist for me in my mission as well .

Well family this week we have transfers coming up , so we really don't know what's going to happen both my comp and i , if we are leaving or if we are staying together, in are area. So its really all up in the air on what's going to happen were not to sure on anything, and they still have not told us , the zone leaders are playing with us….not fun…

Well the assistant just called me from the offices.. and it turns out that i am going to be TRAINING who world of thought, of all things his name is Elder Crapo i think he from Utah. Wow this is crazy i must say…..:0 yeah thats what i said..Well family how crazy is that , and my compa, is gong down to the south of the mission, Estacion is the name of the Barrio, its in the city of San Niciolas . And he is going up to comp Mayor. So its sad that we must go are ways but what can we do the lord needs us in different parts, i guess… what a sad day but yet its a exciting day as that cuz w look forward to the things that are coming up , so its what's going to happen…

Family i love you all i am going to be sending you all so photos , to see what's been gong on in the mission. I love you all and i know that you are all being protected in your lives , thank you mom for the packages that you are all sending me . and for the Money. I don't know who will read this, hopefully the family of Elder Jessop. So my name is Brother Anderson, I served in the mission with Elder Jessop. Not as a companion but I met him when he got to the mission home. I had a great experience to post here.I'll try to make it brief. When my parents picked me up from the mission on May 15th 2008, we went to Santa Fe in the area of General Lopez, where I had served. I visited a convert I had grown to love named Oscar Mendoza, and his daughter Susana Mendoza, also his wife Monica. I also invited Oscar's wife to go to church because she always refused and I wanted her to go. Then last week I wanted to see if the statistics for the Argentina Rosario mission were posted. within my search I found Elder Jessop's blog with a picture of Oscar's wife Monica and daughter Ayalen getting baptized. It was one of the happiest things I've ever seen. As the whole family has accepted the gospel and continue firm.Now I do ask that whoever reads this blog could write Elder Jessop and have him tell her conversion story! The story was that one day Monica woke up and she told us she had to go to chruch with her husband Oscar , so she went. In relief society she started to cry during the class and she told us that she truly felt that this is the true chruch. So after we heard this we started to teach her, took her to General Conference, and within a short time later she decided to be baptized in the chruch. To tell you the truth it was so amazing to see the lords hand in our lives. I went ahead and bought her a huge triple and i have talked to the Elders serving in the area. They say that she is still going strong. She was a true blesing to get to teach in the mission.

How Blessed We Are

It's so good to hear from you all. This week went really good this past week on Saturday we had a baptism, and it was really exciting to see a member actually baptize him. His name is Hernan and he is 11 years old so it was quite nice. Everything is going extremely well in this new area of Pompeya in Santa Fe. This area is just full of youth that are willing to work with us and its a real nice help. Elder Craner is a true stud , my junior comp, him and I for the past 3 weeks have been able to get the standards of the mission , its quite a honor to be serving with Him in this area.

Its really sad to hear that Daryl got his car stolen, especially on Thanksgiving day of all the days. Its really sad to hear but Word of advice to Daryl is just keep your head up , and keep going strong in the ways of the Lord and the Lord will bless you in His way , maybe a better car or your same civic .. so just keep strong in the right path.
Also thanks mom for putting the Money in my account , cuz it turns out that I was just going to ask you to put some Money in for shoes, both pairs that I have left have started showing there time in the field and they are starting to get holes in them. So I am really going to use that Money on some good shoes. For the package that you would like to send to me the only thing I ask is a photos of my bike and fotos of all you all in the family , a good family foto with all the babies , and the last thing would be a good all around cook book, of foods to deserts etc… that's really all I think I would need for Christmas.. its quite different how the whole mind set changes in the mission and you come to realize how blessed we are in our very own lives in so many ways. I have come to realize how great of a family that I really have, and it truly is the thing I am most grateful for I really must say.. so really don't worry about sending me to much staff, maybe letters from the family would be another cool idea to put in the box as well , maybe even members from the ward, if there is any one who remembers me lol … the family is my top priority I must say. And photos I would love, cuz really that's what more people ask to see in the mission. So i really think that is all I am really going to need for the holidays this year..

But I must say family that everything is going quite well in the mission , in about two more weeks we have a baptism of a family of 4, its the family Vega. They have been listing to the missionaries for a while now and they just have been waiting on wedding papers to get baptised , so they CAME in and now they are getting baptised in the church , they are pretty much mormons with out the waters of baptism lol ….:)

I love you all , I have a question for you all for the call of Christmas , when would you all want me to call in the morning or afternoon , so we can know what time to call you all at home or you call us … so just so we can plan around it …

So i hope everything keeps going good for you all , there is no need to worry if i am getting food or not, cuz we eat with the members about 5 times of the week so its really nice. I just hope I don't gain weight in the mission. Its my only fear lol , but everyone is telling me i lost some weight cuz I look skinner … and with the heat coming its not going to help any lol.. it was very interesting this past week we had a lot of rain in Santa Fe, so we had a rainy week lol … there is one more thing i want to ask mom its about my debt card so do we know whats going to happen when it expires, in Feb… ¿ am i going to need to send you mine or anything weird like that… so if you can find out information on that it would be a good help..

I Have Not Heard from You All Back Home

Family ,

How are you all? I am really worried about them cuz i have not heard from any of you all for quite sometime, just i really don't know what to think of whats going on back home. Cause it has been a total of two good weeks that i have not heard from you all back home, i am really lost on whats going on back home, with everyone.. so i pray to the lord almighty that you all are alright. Well i truly hope you are alright, cuz now i am in a new area, I am back in the zone of Santa Fe Norte. But this time I am not in the area of General Lopez i am in the area of Pompeya , which i am not going to lie is a really nice area, I have a feeling that I am really going to like it in this area. The barrio is full of young kids , from the ages of 12- 19 it is just full of jovens. Which for me is a first in the misión i have never seen so many kids that go out and help us in the work, they want to help us teach the lessons with the investigadores, which i must say is utterly amazing. So its really a great area i must say.

I have a new compa, his name is Elder Craner, he is from Idaho , from Rex burg , from where BYU is at. I must say he is a really good elder, he has about 10 months in the misión. He started his misión in the same place where i started my misión , in Federal, in Entre Rios… so its really cool he was my replacement when i left that area in Entre rios.. so its pretty sweet i can talk to him about the old area and everything… he is the secound oldest in his family he has a brother and sister that follow him .

Well family i really don't know what to think cuz i have not HEARD anything from any one in the family, Mom ,Dad , Chon , Cliff, Deb, Daryl , etc… i really don't know whats going on in the house or any of your lives , and to tell you the truth i am really really sad , i must say for a misiónary , not to have email is quite depressing , and i am worried for you all as my parents , brothers, sister , family, i have no idea for anything…. I kinda wish i had something to work off of… I really don't know what to say other then that i am just worried for you all.. Cuz last week i sent Mom a letter to her email account which is the mac and it showed to me that it did not send. So then i sent the letter to her work email, and it showed that it sent. But i go today to my email, and now it shows that no one sent anything back.. So i am really worried that i can't get any of your emails or that i can't get any of yours.. I am going to keep you all really deep down in my prayers cuz i am truly worried for you all.

Family i love you all, to the souls of my Heart. I pray that everything is going good for you . I don't want you all to worry for me cuz i am doing really good hear in argentina, i am in the lords hand and i have been protected and i know He will keep protecting me in this work of his, to preach his great and holy Word to his children her in Pompeya… i love you all , i would love to hear from any one of you …. Si Se Vale la Pena

Family,

Its so good to hear from you I must truly say. I felt really good to hear from you all this week I dont know why but it did. I must tell you this week was really good for us we have a investigator who we have been preparing for his baptism, and another one in the district, from the other set of elders in Villa Diego. So in this coming week we have two baptism coming up, I am really excited in every way for the district and for my own personal self as well. I must say it sounds like you all were quite busy this week but when are you all not busy, I dont think I would like parents who sit still.. But I must have to agree with dad on preparing the food, if it does bring more people to church it is well worth it… In Spanish there is a frase for that "si se vale la pena"… I think in that why it totally does.. I must say any church activity is a huge weapon for the missionaries, but it just hurts the missionaries if a ward does not do activities. It just stops the work, in a way… the best advice I can give you all coming from the missionary field is try to have the most activities that you can within the week and the month.. it is a huge tool for the work of the Lord…I must say that is where I wish the barrio I am in could be doing better in. Cause it would help us out a lot , so that is the best advise I could give you all as Readers of this letter in El paso.

It sounds like you all had a good Halloween , which is really cool, we wanted to buy some watermelon ,but when we went to go buy they ran out so it was pretty sad, so we just stayed working in the Lords way….Its so crazy that we got a new dog in the house, its crazy and exciting at the same time… I hope to see him when I get home . I can have a new pal when I get there,( wow Jessup dont get trunky now still long ways a way.. ) To tell you the truth the transfer has flown buy at a very unreal Speed that is just way to Fast. To tell you the truth it's kinda scared to see how Fast the next part of my mission goes… i know I have to work hard and just enjoy it cuz it really is the Only time in my life that i will have such a honor to serve the Lord in the way i am doing..

I know that we all can remember that great and wonderful day of our baptism, on how wonderful it was… and tell you all that we can still feel that great and wonderful joy of the lord each and every week as we partake of the santa cena…i know this is the way the Lord wants us to remember him each and every day as we go through our life..I thank you all, mom go ahead and thank Lope for me , i really appreciate it and I thank her for the donation to my great mission..

I thank all of my family for everything even down to the love of which you all show me as well …. Next week I will be writing on Tuesday cuz it will be transfers, so I'll tell you all if i am leaving or not, I'll have the news by then.. i love you all thank you again..

Well i am really shocked to say cuz i sent you all a letter last week , and i even looked and it said it sent. So i am really stunned about that, cuz last week i didi not hear from you all at home i did not get a letter , so something is up… i dont know what but there is something?

Well this week went really good i must say , this week we had Zone Conference , and we had the Elder Zivic from the area presentencia talk to us and his wife, WOOOOOW i must say it was Amazing it was unreal. .. So that really stared to pump us up again for the holy Work of the Lord. I must say we have one investigator who is really good and he is Amazing, he is fighting to quite smoking , and drinking , but he is programed to be baptised this week , but if he falls short he will come into the water on the 08 of November. But i must say he really is a great person who deep in side of him he is trying to change , he is tired of doing bad things and just wants to be in the lords path. .. Also this week was another first for me , in two ways 1. i had my very frist intervista baptismal, 2. i had to direct my very first baptism. So i must say i was scared for thoses things but i felt the overwhelming peace of the spirit take it over, it was one of those experiences you just dont forget.

This week you dont need to worry for transfers , cuz they are on the 11-12 of the next month , which is not to fare i must say. I must say the time is truly flying by, i have no idea if its just cuz i moved up , or if it really is going by super fast. But i must say you come to realize a lot of f the staff that you have learned in the mission, and its truly Amazing, it just seems like yesterday i reported into the MTC… Tell that one kid to star Redding his Preach my Gospel, that book will truly help him start getting in the mind set of he missionary.. tell him to learn to love ove Th. e Book Of Mormon , as well and to start building his testimony Strong on that. Two things that i would tell anyone to start doing would be those 2….

Family i must say i am sorry for all the pain that i ever did cause anyone of you all it was all not for a purpose, i was just young and Dumb, i thought i had know everything in life but , in all truth i knew nothing.. its just something i felt i needed to ay to you all ..

So family i am sorry you all did not get the letter of last week , but i really hope you all get this one this week. I really do…..

I wish I could personally thank you all in person , for the great support that you all give me, but i guess i am going to have to wait tell the end of my mission for that. So tell then i will keep writing thank-you each and every week. I truly love you all … and this great restored gospel of which we all share in common , for this is the gospel of Jesus Christ, i know that he and his father did appear to Joseph Smith , to answer his simple question, i know for this simple question of a young boy , we have this gospel , OOOO HOW THANKFUL AM I THAT JOSEPH Smith , showed his faith to the lord that one great and holy day…. Fruits of our Labor

Family,

Hello family how is everything going, I am glad to her that you had a good week. It sounded a lil bit stressful,which I am really sorry. , but I know that the Lord is with us and He will help the family out in these times. To tell you the truth this week was a week we got to see the fruits of our labor in the Lord's work, on my mission. This week we had a baptism, a 22 year old named Angel Coitiñho who I truly must say was really excited about his baptism. So it was a great week I must say. We had a baptism and the new convert was really excited about his baptism! Thanks mom for putting money in my account , its really going to help me out. But still everything is still going good for my comp. and I. We are really both stoked to do this great latter day work for the Lord. I truly have grown so much in this little time that I have been a district leader, the Lord is just blessing me with strength and knowledge I have be learning so much each and every day of the mission . I must say that it truly feels like I have been born again in the mission. The Lord has blessed me as a leader. It is a true blessing to be serving the Lord in this great work. I am really going to keep you all in my prayers in these next couple of days. I know that life is going in a rough manner, but I know that the Lord is always willing to bless us as long as we are following the commandments that He has given to us. So keep strong in these times of hardship. For the Lord will help us out. In the mission when I first heard that I was going up in the mission field I was extremely scared, but I said a prayer to the Lord and thanked Him , and I knew that He wants me in this spot, and that He is going to help me every step of the way. So family I am sure of one thing, I think all of us have learned as a family that the Lord will bless us as a family together. For the Lord does give us families to help us grow and become stronger , from our weakness He forces us to become strong in these times. So I know that we are all here to have this great honor and thank you for being my beloved family. So keep being the examples for me in my life I have learned so much from all of you in these days and in my days at home. I truly love all of you in every manner. I truly thank the Lord from my knees to have you all as my beloved family.Family I thank you for all your support, and examples. I love you all , and if there is anything of which you all need don’t ever be to shy to ask me. I am always more then willing to help you all out in what ever manner you all see fit. THANK YOU. Lol Don’t ever worry about me in this work , for I am with the Lord I do recive his great protection in these great days. He does grant me His kindness ,His love ,His spirit, and His guidnece . For He helps me in every way I know, it truly is the greatest blessing to be in this great work of His. So family we have a new starting point right now in this area. We are having to start looking for new people each and everyday , but I do tell you one thing is that we have recived some blessings and it is always a great time to go and teach them. The lord has given us some people to teach, in this coming week i'll tell you how it goes, but as for now I am really short on time. New Companion

Family ,

Its so glad to hear that every one is doing good in life. It really sounds like everyone has been going through rough times. But we must always remember that the Lord is looking at our progress as we go day by day in are lives. The mission I must say truly does know how to change ones will and desires in their heart. My new companion Elder Baxter is a really great guy , he has a lot of energy to do this great work of the Lord. He is the frist one to serve of his family setting the example for his brother and sisters. He comes from Rafala up close to Santa Fe, his home town is Alpine Utah. My very frist companion was also from Utah. Lol As far as how am I doing? You all asked I am doing really great , I got some good news for you all………I lived through my frist week as district leader..lol But I must say I believe this is where I am going to start to really lose my self in the service of the Lord I already see it happing to me. Just lil day by day. Ill tell you that there are a total of four elders in the district , and two Hermanas, I'll be sending photos of them in the next coming week after my frist district meating. Lol

The Conference I got to see the whole thing. For us we had one investigador that stayed with us through 4 of the sessions so it was a true blessing, he is programmed for the end of this week to get baptised. So we are really excited. My comp. Saw the whole Conferance in english , and I saw all in Spanish , and to tell you the truth I understood most of the whole conference. It was a personal goal that I wanted to do, after all I am in a Spanish speaking mission , I think I should watch it in Spanish. It was not to bad in another language as I thought it would be. We had to travel to are stake center to see it which is a lil further into Rosario. But all in all it was really good I truly did enjoy the conference I hope you all did as well.Its really good to hear how fast that Dayrl found a job thats really exciting. I am glad to see the family is doing really good, From the growing up of the babies to there first tackles, all that good stuff. For I know that the Lord is truly lookng over my family as I serve Him in his great work. Thank you all for the support that you all give me each and every day. Mom I would like for you to say hello for me to Phillp if you see him , and ask him what is he up to , tell him thank you for saying that about me, and the same to him. I am glad to have the family of which I have in my life. I miss you all from here in Argentina, I pray for you each and every day. The comp. Is fine I really think we are going to have a lot of great succes in this area of Galvez , we both know what we need to do and I am gong to try and do everything to help out in the language and in the mission. For he has a total of six months in the mission, just half of my time in the mission. But a really great kid I must say , I am going to try and help him in any way I can. I know this is where the Lord wants me in my mission and the poistion is that of district Leader, I know I will have tuff times and times the life could not be more perfect. But I know that all my success I must return in thanks to my Lord for He has helped me in my life through thick and thin. For He will never leave us a alone in his work and his will , let us just remember to put him first in our lives and remember His great Atonement for us and all of man. I love you all family, I thank you you with hugs and kisses , and truly owe you all my greatest love of my soul.I THANK YOU ALL IN EVERY WAY… Mom I am running a lil low on money cuz , I was running on very low money so if you can send me a lil somethin I will really enjoy it. Let Us Show this Great Joy to the World

Beloved Family,

How are you all doing? This week went pretty good for us in the holy work of the Lord, lets just say the fruits of our work payed off We had a baptism this past week….:) So it was a true blessing for us this week I must say in the lords work. I ll tell you a lil more about that in a bit…

Mom as for the food , its really good here, and I love it , I had not had a problem with it yet knock on wood lol . For the past few weeks we have had lunch with members. Its about 3 lunches we have to cook ourselves , and 3 are at the houses of members. So that's the deal with the food. And for our clothes its really good I must say., we're spoiled here lol , we have a hermana that washes are clothes, then we have a separate hermana that washes are G´s . So as far as clothes we are good and taken care of. But we do iron are own cloths lol, when they need to be ironed.. So i just thought that I would answer the questions that mom asked before I forget lol.

This week was really great I am truly enjoying the great work of the Lord. Its so crazy this past week I hit my 11 months in the mission and I did not realize it to tell you the truth. I am going to tell you all something that we are doing Elder Molina and I , he is from Canada , so he speaks English good , and he has parents that are Latinos so he also speaks Spanish perfect , and 3 other languages…Lucky…. The thing I am trying to get at is that the both of us are teaching classes in English for free at the church, and we have a total of about 15 – 17 people going each week , and it grows each week as well. In there is when a lil girl who asked me how much time I had in the mission, then I realized that I hit 11 months that same day. Lol What a dork I know lol…

The lady that was baptized was Angelica Herrera, who was a reference of a member, so it truly does pay to give the refs.. to the missionaries . Then we had the member baptize her and that was a great site. I' ll be sending fotos when I can. So family if you ever have a name pop up in your head thinking that they need to hear the gospel, write it down on a paper and give it to the local missionaries. Cuz the truth is that the Lord could be giving us that name but it's us that change are minds, and then we never give it to the missioners , then those people who's name we received from the Lord himself never come into Heavens Gate…Baptism … so those names are revalations to us…. Don't doubt them..

So please just listen to the voice of our Lord when he tells us who is ready for this gospel, and what items we need to do. Trust in his holy Spirit to guide us. So family I really do love you all , and thank you all for what you have done for me in this great work for your support , to just writing me each week it truly is a pleaser to have you all as my beloved family…in this worldly life. You all have given me so much I truly don't know how to repay you all…. But I know one thing that you all would rather have me here then any other place in my life… so I will serve in the name of the Lord as Elder Jessup… to let people know of the truth of the restored gospel the message that has brought so much joy and peace in to our lives, so that they may come to know these blessings of the Lord Our Redeemer Jesus Christ.. Well fam.. thats really how the week went for me in this part of the World, another great week in the mission. I can only pray and hope that the week goes just as good for you all at home…and at work. Just remember the Lord is always here for us no matter what we need or are going through in are lives, let us show this great joy to the World and let them see the Light and truth of Christ to the World……Amen

Happy Missionaries in our Dear Lord's Work

Family,
Its good to hear from you all this week. This week went pretty good I must say. This week that is coming we have a baptism of a cousin of a member. So we are pretty excited for that. Her name is Angelica. She is a lady of about 40 years of age, and she said when I listen to you all the message is complete, as in the gospel. So I really think she truly understands this message. So its pretty exciting, so she is going to be baptised on the 13 of this month. We would of had two more people be baptised as well , but one of the brothers did not come to church yesterday. So we just have to be a lil more patient with them. Slowly but surly they will come unto the lord. So we have really just been really worried for them theses past few weeks, to tell you the simple truth its been pretty busy just trying to get them to come in to the water.

I do have good news there was a baptism in are district in the rama of the hermanas , in a small town called Arayo Seco, which is a lil further out from my area by like 30 min or so. It was a lil older lady of about 60 or so who got to know the truth of this great gospel. So its all a bunch of happy missionaries in our dear lords work here in the district of ours. So I think thats pretty important to share. As for me and my comp , we are doing really good yesterday we came to realize some of the things that we need to do better so its just lil things that we need to better in the mission. Also this week we got to have interviews with are President of the mission, which went pretty well. Really great person his from Paraguay and his wife from Bolivia , but there kids are living in the States. So they are two really good people trying to do the best for the Lords missionaries in this great mission. So everything is going really good . I truly am at a great time in the mission, i am really enjoying each and everyday, as it goes by.

I really enjoyed the photos of the ward thing, at first I didi not remember who Ashley was then when I looked at the photo I remembered. So go ahead and tell the ward that I send them all a good hello to each and every one of them. What a great group of people I must say. I love them all lol…

Family as far as I am doing I am doing really good I am enjoying the work, I try to give all to the Lord each and every day as we go each and everyday. For this a true blessing of which I have, to serve the Lord, in this great country. To preach his gospel each and every day for two years. For the Lord wants me here I need to serve him each and everyday as I wake up in the mission. For i know its what he wants from me and its what I want as well in this time in my life. As for the time. It does fly by I must say. The Lord helps us on the mission , and our families to lose track of the time. I am so thankful that I have this great time in my life and the support of my beloved family in this very work . Thank you all for everything I love you all to the depths of my Heart and to the bottom of my soul. Mom I wish you the best of luck on your trip, to Mexico, and family I wish you the best of luck and guidance during this coming week in everything…

Family,

I truly must say that hearing about Erik does truly make me feel in my soul that I am o so ever thankful for this very gospel in my very life. I must say that the Lord has His guided time for each person, to tell you something is that we had a very sad story happen in our very barrio, a kid was going on his moto to pick up his sister at the house, and hit a car n the way and ended up passing away. Maxi Guzman is his name but to tell you the truth that was about 3 weeks ago , and the family is so strong it literally amazes me each time i see them… i know it has to do with the message of the restored gospel of Jesús Christ. So let this message show on our faces to help others see that we have the truth of the Lord in are lives.

This week went pretty well it was just a average week in the mission field. We have a really good group of investigators that are due to be baptised this month the 6th and the 13th back to back.. Im just going to keep them in my prayers each day to make sure that they can arrive to there date.. so I would really like if you all can to … please there names are Angelica for the sixth. Then Ariel, and Angel for the 13 of this month.. so we are just running busy trying teach them everything, and trying to find new people .. so that is really how our week has been going .We had a total of 2 people in church this past week , but this week we will get more…we are having a pretty good weeks..

Its really good to hear about Celest getting married. I am sure its really good to see....someone take that step to be sealed for ever.. this week in church I had to give a talk on the family proclamation , so I learned quite a bit lol , and I got a lil hope for the day I finally decide to take that holy step with my special someone. So who really knows how long I am going to have to wait for that special day… but I do know one thing. Its one thing I want in > my life. For that is one of the many rehaznos that we come to this great earth, to bring forth a family of our own. So its one thing that I want in my life I just need to wait my time ..lol As for everything with my compa, we are doing just fine everyone usually tells use that we have a appearance that we get along just fine, and I am not going to lie cuz we do. So why not try to show it when in reality and be our selfs and get along lol…as for me personal am reading the book of mormon in spanish again, and also in personal study am reading the bible, I am still in the old testament lol , but I am going through it day by day. So the Lord is helped me so much with the reading problem of which I had .. its like its almost gone away I must truly say, and how thankful I am for it as well. Its the Word of good truly helping ones life…

Well my beloved family I love you much and much, I know that we all have are tough times in life at each person it hits them in different times. For that is the reason why we need to always be following the example of the Lord, for He will help us out in theses tough times. We must always be thinking of our Lord, for the Lord could have someone come up to us and ask us of our religion, and in that moment we must be prepared… ( Y hablamos de cristo ,nos > regocijamos en cristo , predicamos de cristo, profetizamos de cristo y escribimos según nuestras pofecias, para que fuente han de acudir para la remision de sus pecados…….2 Nefi 25: 26 ) let this great scripture help us feel ready to teach this great Word..

Family I love you all dearly , I thank you all for the support that you all give me. To support the lil one of the family. I truly love you all I thank good each and every day that I have you all as my family, let us follow our Saviour in the greatest things, and as well in the small and simple things. For he taught all this to us for a reason to show us how it is that we can come to live with him again alter this life… I love you all ..,Keep strong in the ways of the Lord… let us all come unto him as a family of the Lord… thank you for everything….

It's Only After a Trial of Faith We Receive Our Testimony

Family,

Its good to hear from you I must say. This week we had a pretty good week . We truly have found some golden people in the Lords land. We have come across 3 new people there names are Ariel , who is 20 years old and his brother Angel 22 years old. Then we CAME across a reference of a member named Angelica, who is about 40 years old. They all went to church yesterday and they all liked it. They all have a date for baptism on the 13 of September, so we are really excited for that here in this area, and in this time.. I have to say I have truly seen the Lords hand in my life each and everyday as we go out and work in this holy work of His. I know that the Lord is here to bless us as we are more and more obedient to his commandments. Like you said mom that they are here to Protect us and guide us in our lives. I am really sorry to hear about the horse that passed away, it s really a sad thing to hear. But I know dad that you are going to take care of the baby horse, and that this is a trail of faith, like Ether 12: 6 says that its only after a trial of faith we'll receive our testimony.

So I must say that we are pretty excited for the investigators that we have here in Galvez. The work is going good we keep finding more and more people each day. Its really good to hear that there was a baptism in the ward, and especially that the friend baptised him. That's a missionaries dream come true . to see a member do the baptism . For our new mission president has put a lot of focus on how we need to start working more with the members. And we have started and it seems to be truly working I must say. So there is some more news of how the mission is going for me.

Its really good to hear that Austin got his mission call for Spanish speaking, tell him he is going to love this time in his life, that it truly does change one's life in many, many ways. Its a great two years and that it goes by really fast. So to work hard and enjoy the mission. Tell him he is just a year behind me cuz I went in the 10 of October.

Thanks mom for the Money , I really needed it . thanks thanks lol . I am also going to be sending some more photos to day as well.. so thanks again. Well I hope everything is going well for you all . I truly thank you as my family for everything of which you have done for me in my life and in this time of the mission. . I love you all so dearly, I pray for each one of you as the weeks turn into months then the months into years. I love you all. Being Silly

Let Us Humble Ourselves

Family,
Hey how are you all doing? Well this week went pretty good i must say, but the guy we had programed for the week end he fell, he did not make it to his date cuz he moved in to another area , and he is not in our hans anymore so that was a bust this week. So we still worked hard this week and found some new people, we found some really good people. This week was also transfers , and the news is that me and my comp E.Arro are going to be staying together another transfer, so we are pretty excited for that i must say, its really the big news of the day. So we are pretty happy with that i must say. So as for i am doing pretty well i really enjoyed the scripture and the story mom it really gets you to think that god has a purpose for everything he does. Even though we have no clue why we are going through that trial in are life , the lord does and he looking at us and seeing how we handle the that was a really good story. I must say as i read the bible i am learning more of the stories, but yet also i know that i am still not truly understanding the text , or the true meaning, but i must say a simple prayer of faith is true all we really need to do. I finished the book of Exodus and the one thing that just surprised me was the hard heartedness of the Pharaoh of Egypt, as he did not see that it was the true hand of god , and that he wanted to let and have his children free of bondage. I truly must say that that can be taken into are life today as we see the Lords hand in are life ,but even though we see it we still know we are going to fall again in to the darkness of sin, but here is where we can make or break are selfs, by being hard hearted or by being humble unto the Lord. So let us not be like the harden king let us be as Moses and humble are selfs to the lord in all the days of are life. For truly that is the way to live are live in the manner of the teachings of are Lord Jesus Christ. That this week was my spiritual thought. As i compared the king to us ( human kind) and Moses unto the (lord).
So let us rejoice in the ways of the lord . for ever and always for this is are true joy in life let us shine are light of christ for all to see in times of light in times of darkness, let us help this world become full of joy one person at a time. At on point or another the world will hear are teachings either through missionaries or through members of the church , let us take forth this great message. For this is the true joy in life i must truly say helping people come unto the ways of are lord.

Family i love you all i know that i am in the great work of the lord that he is helping me day by day to carry forth his work unto the people of this country. Family i love you all to the bottom of my heart, i know that each one of you are trying to do the best to carry forth this great word and living the teaching of our great Lord . Family i love you all with out a doubt in my soul, for i know the lord wants me in the area of Galvez to carry forth his work , i thank you all for your prayers and your love , daily i do think of you all and pray for you through out my day as well, there is not a day that goes by that something i see reminds of home in some way.

Everything went pretty good this week. We have a great investigator his name is Raul, h

e came to church 2 times in a row solo, he is truly of gold I must say. He

has a date for baptism this week, so we are pretty excited. There is a lot

gs of which we are receiving i must say in this work. This week we had zone conference and it went so well i must say. We talked a lot about the importance of working with the members. It went really well, but there was a huge down fall, after cuz my comp got really sick after wards, the food did not do him any good. But he was in the bed for 3 days but right now he is doing a lot better. So that was really the bad news of the week i must say. There was a lot of time in the pinch, this week so it was kinda a bust i must say. He type of food

poisoning or some thing.

But i must say the week went by really fast. There was a

lot of stuff going on lol. For now i have started to read the bible again, but now i am also taking notes as i read the chapters so its a better way to study for me i must say

Cuiz the other day i realized how i really dont know the stories in the bible all to well, so i am going to become familiar with then. Lo

l i have come to realize this week that i lack a lot of knowledge , but i realized

that i need to do my part as well i cant just leave it up to the lord to help me , when i dont study it just does not work out right... lol. I realized that if we truly want to come to understand something , we must truly

ask of god with all are faith , as in James 1: 5 ask and we shall receive if it is of rightousnous . the lord does truly bless us in are daily

lives in so many different ways he just wants to give it all to us its just we need to ask of it in our prayers. The lord is truly here for us in are daily lives let us just humble are selfs and ask of him day by day.

rk i must truly say. I find more and more about me each and everyday, thanks to the lord. Mom there is something i need to tell you about my personal card it expires 02/09 in feb, so i just want to tell to start asking how i can get a new card so at lest you know and its not last min, i am giving you tons of time lol .. i learned my lesson from my school projects. I am also very sad to here

about the new puppy, i pretty bummed that i never got to met her. But i know the lord has a plan for his animals just as much as us ,

we will see her again , and i will see my great dog Floyd

It great to hear from you all, this week , i am glad to hear that all of you enjoyed the photos i sent last week. Well this week went pretty good but it also had its up s and downs like any other week. Its crazy how the misión Works we have great days then we have off days were it feels like nothing went right , but what can you say as long as we can look back each day and say you served the lord with all your Herat, might ,mind and stringht.

Well family your not going to relieve what happen to me this week. Its a pretty crazy mission story that every one has.. this past Friday my comp and i went to the chruch to do early morning work outs. So we were running at the back field of the chruch about mid way through are workout , when we heard a loud shout Saying PUT YOUR SELFS ON THE FLOOR…. I looked over and it was the cops telling us to throw are selfs on the floor… it turns out that one of the niehbors of the chruch called the cops saying that they saw two kids jump the fence to the chruch, and that they were robbing. So the cops thought that we were robbers at the chruch. So the cops searched us , saw that we were not armed , then they asked me what was in my hand , then i told them that it was the keys to the chruch , and to are apartment. They stared to ask us who we were , what we were doing , and why we were there? So we basicly gave them a whole lesson, that we are missionaries for the chruch.. From there they asked us to show us that the key was to the chruch , so we showed them. They took down a couple of dats or info, of us and asked to report to the cop station at 9:30 latter the same moring… to make the story short, we showed up to the station , with are zone leaders and they le tus go free of charge.. lol..

What a story right lol , but the whole time the lord had are back , so it went all well, no need to worry. But this week i do have a scripture for you all…. “ y ocurrio que Jesús los bendijo mientras le dirigian sus oraciones ; y la sonrisa de su faz fue sobre ellos , y los ilumino la luz de su semblante; y he aquí ,estaban tan blancos como el semblante y como los vestidos de Jesús; y he aquí , su blancura excedia a todo blancura, si, no podia haber sobre la tierra cosa tan blanca como blancura.” I read the scripture this moring and i really hit me i thought i world share it with the family.. so every one could ponder it in there own way its in 3 Nephi 19: 25 let us all become white as the cloths of Jesús christ throug are prayers. For it is one of the simplets thing we can offer to the lord. Well family i truly love you all , i know you all worry about me but i tell you there is no need for the lord is holding me in his mighty hand of which he has. I know that the lord has blessings ready fro each one of us , and he is ready to give them to us , we just need to ask for them .

Family i love you all i know that this is the chruch of the lord and that the book of mormon is the Word of our lord… keep remembering our God and his Hill, in are hearts…

Family,
Hey , family how is everything going, its really good to hear from you all this week. I am doing good I am loving the work each and everyday more and more. This week was a pretty good week , we had some investigators in the church this week, and everything went really nice this week. We did a lot of teaching this week just like any other lol . this week I have no crazy exciting story to tell you all sorry. This week was just working after work lol. But in all reality its how the Lords work goes out in the mission, I must say, but we do have a lot of good people can be great members, we just need to teach them a lil more. So the work is going really good , it gets better each and every day I must say.

For mom I loved the story the missionary told to you all, it gets you going to want to go preach the gospel, it gets you going , cuz in all cases I could have promised people to as well, for it is something that I don’t know, but it makes me want to go knock door to door trying to find that person that I would preach the gospel to. For this week I came a lil closer to my heavenly father that he is always with us and trying to guide us each and every day . I can tell you all that I have a really strong testimony of this , but in all reality you all already know that he is with us, family we all know that he is with us day by day . for this is his gospel and he wants us all to come to him. For he has given us this chance for us to prove that we can follow his example, in our time , and that is what he wants to see us do in our life. ….

Great Week

Family,

Hello family. Its good to hear from you all , it seems to me that everything is going good at home… as far as the mission i am doing great, the work is really moving along at ful. The lord is blessing us so much in this area, you can truly see his hand in our life , in this area of Galvez. This past Sunday after fast and testimony meeting our bishop introduced us to a family is part member , the wife is a member but the husband is not so we put a date when the bishop, to go visit them. As for last night was one of the best night in the work that I have ever seen, the spirit was alround us last night as we were working. We went from cita to cita with the spirit of the lord. We started off by going to the family Godoy, the wife of the family is fighting with smoking, but I tell you what family see is one determinded person to leave it behind. I personally have not seen faith so strong in the mission, she asked us for a blessing to help her out, then from there we went to family Guzman, in this family the youngest daughter wants to be baptised, she is 9. so we went to the family, and began to teach, it true felt the the lord opened the heavens over us in that house, and we chanllaged the husband to become worthy, with in a mouth to be able to baptise his daughter, and then right before we lefted we asked the father to say the prayer , but with all of us on our knees , and he said yes… so great it was the frist time in my mission that we asked the family to pray to there heavenly father from there knees… from there we started talking about how we need to get a hold of the bishop , and the Elders Qurom pres. To try and helpout the family. Guzman.. In that spilt moment in time we came across our leader misional , and the pres, of the elders. I have never seen the lords hand so strong in my life. So we talked to them about the family Guzman , and they seemed really pleased with our work. This was a true night to remember in my mission. From there we had one more cita to go to. It was a lady that we talked to in the street, and we set up the cita in the tardecita, about 8:30.
So we went to there house and they invited us in , and let us teac to them lesson 3 which is the gospel of jesus Christ , and we left two copies of the book of mormon in the house. The thing I tell you about this family is that its of three people Teresa, Debora, and Sofia, but family I have never seen people that attentive to our message , they read the promises in moroni, and ther eyes where just aww strok in the promises… I know with all my heart that the lord is blessing us in this holy work, and I can truly see it with my own eyes , I have never seen the spirit so strong in my mission tell last night. So family there is a little bit of the work for you lol..
Well family thank you for your support, in this great work for the lord. I know that the lord is with us as a family , and he is helping us grow together as one, even though we are in different areas of the world he knows are needs and desires , and he is here to help us …..Alma 7 :11-13 .. Y saldra sufriendo dolores , aflicciones y tentaciones de todas clases ; y esto para que se cumpla la palabra que dice , tomara sobre si los dolores y las enfermedades de su pueblo…. Y tomara sobre si la muerte, para soltar las ligaduras de la muerte que sujetan a su pueblo, y sus enfermedades tomara el sobre si , para que sus entrañas sean llenas de misericordia , según la carne , a fin de que según la carne sepa como socorrer a los de sus pueblo, de acuerdo con las enfermedades de ellos …. Ahora bien, el espiritu sabe todas las cosas , sin embargo ,el Hijo de dios padece según la carne, a fin de tomar sobre si los pecados de su pueblo , para borrar sus transgresiones según el poder de su redencion, y he aquí este es el testimonio que hay en mi…. Family it was a little scripture that i though i world share with you all … for I love you all thank you so much for everything .. the word for transfers is that me and my comp are going to stay together this transfer…

Family,

Well everything is going good for us down here in Galvez , it was a great week , yesterday Sunday we had a baptism of a kid of 9 named fransico , what a stud of a kid i must say . I must say I am loving the work of the lord , how great is this work .. Also this week we said good by to our old president of the mission, we have a new president named Villalba who is from parguy ( don’t know how to spell the name) we have are frist conference with him this Wednesday , so really looking forward to that I must say.

So as you can see there is a lot going on in the mission , we have a new president , who I know is called here for a reason. As fare as this new area I am loving it, it’s a lot bigger then my last area, so it a lot more walking I must say but o well.. my compa elder Arro and I are doing great , as a companship, we have been baking cakes at full , I think by the time I get home I will be one darn chef, lol I am learning a lot of cooking on my mission.. quite fun I must say. O yeah my comp is loving all the food I am cooking he just eats it all lol… I know that I ment to send you all photos of the house last week . so ill I will send a lil this week and the week to come, as well.. the pinch takes me back home cuz it has such high sealings such as our house , but I really do like the apartment here.

Well family I know that I love you all with all my heart , you all have helped me out so much in this short time and in my past as well, and mom I am doing everything I can o keep positive through out my day and trusth me the lord is helping me out each and every single day that I ask him, which pretty much every day lol. Dad I know that you have this new calling for a reason, the lord whats you in that spot , for you helped the priest for so long , I know that you are going to help the single adults so much, that is such a good group of kids , they will help you out as well, can you all tell them hello for me this next coming week at church.. family I love you all to the core of my soul. I know one thing that hits me everyday on my mission is that the lord is with us day to day of our lifes, and he is with us each step of the way , we must just simply ask him for his help and let us become his true children , and talk to him as if our own parents on this earth, no matter what time of day he is always there to guide us and protect us in our times and his time. For he is just as thankful for us as we are to him in our lives. Just by simple things in our daily lives we can draw so close to him. The thing is that we must always be wanting to do his will in our lives, as reading our scriptures , going to church , partaking of the sacrament, and fullfuling our callings, and ask him for his guidnece in a simple prayer everyday and every night.. He is our heavenly father and he is all ways listen to us. For my beloved family and friends I love you all I know you all don’t have to worry about me for I am in the lords hands in his most holy work, I know that he lives that Jesus is the Christ, that this is his holy and only true church on earth..

I love you all thank you for you support in this holy work and for all your help… I love you all, and I know the lord will bless each one of you all , and just remember the prayer of a little one is one of the best prayers to the lord there humilty to him … I need to remember it as well… love you all…mom the thing I ask is just to put some more money in my account please… how ever much you see fit please .. thank you all love you tell next p-day

Hello hello it sounds like everything is peachy lol , it just sounds like its really hott up in el paso and lubbuck . well i did move to a new area the name of the area is Galvez it s a city out side of rosario, by like 5 to 10 min not by much its a really nice area. I think i am really going to enjoy my time here in this new area,its a huge area lot bigger them my last . My comps name is elder Arro , and guess what i got luck this time i got another person from argentina from a different part of Buenos Aires, from the south part of the city. So how lucky is that i must say. As far as the new apartment its really nice high roofs just like back at home lol but this time around it s only me and my comp, just like in my frist area,up in federal . the bad thing is that the apartment was very dirty , but with a lil bit of work i got it clean in about 2 days . ill send you a picture of all the trash... lol

So i got a new area that really was not expecting when i recvived that call . but all in reality i know its where the lord wants me to serve him i did my time in santa fe , so to tell you the truth ia excited at the fullest , and i am stocked for this next chapter in my mission story lol. One thing that is a bit different in this area is that its a lot coolder hear . cuz in a map santa fe is more inthe norther part of the mission and in argentina , but my new area is just 2 hours south from santa fe but that lil difference makes a lot of temputre difference , i guess lol there is a lot of things going on with the country , political from my under standing they had a chage of presedent , who now is a women and she rased the tax on the framers lots 60/100 of there products had to be payed to the goverment , so the framers did a protest and stopped sending out product , so when they did that the truckers ran out of work so they stopped worrking , from there rose another protest with the truckers , so when we did a food run there was nothing in the stores cuz in reality no one is working ..... the presidenta talked to the people but i dont know if she solved any thing , we as missioonaries are not allowed to talk to the people about whats going on political ....

In reality this whole thing is not putting a whole tole on mission work but just like every now and then you hear people saying anti americna stuff like always. But we just dont worry about it a keep going strong in the lords work for he is the purpose we are serving .... i just wanted to let you all know how the politcal seen is down here... i just know a lil bit not much.. but family i know that what ia m doing is the3 holy work of the lord and that he is looking over each and every one of us in theses latter days iam going to share a scriture that i read thuis moring in Alma 57: 27 .. it says .. Now this was the faith of these of whom i spoken ; they are young , and there minds are frim , and they do put their trust in God continually... here is the story of the strippling warriors , as we all know the story , but then i started thinking that the missionarias are the mondern stripling warriors , and that we are young , pretty much the same age as they were , and we are continually putting our trust in the lord to serve him and to help his gospel grow , it just hit home that verse i justn wanted to share it with you all as well .. well i love you all to the depths of my heart .. tell next p day

Farewell to Santa Fe

Hello how is everything going for you all up there. This week was good and all we had a total of 2 investigators in the church this week. But I am not going to lie we worked hard all week to get them there, so it was worth it. As far as my cold I just have a runny nose is all really. And yes mom I am taking all the vitamins , but I have no more body Rox I would like some more of those. My comp and I are doing really good , but I just got news today , when we were playing soccer at the church , is that I am leaving my area tomorrow, after interviews, and I am going to the area of Rosario, one of their areas close to it. So I am leaving another area…. Going on to my third of my mission..how crazy… and I really don’t know what's going to happen or ho is my comp, this came as a big surprise….not going to lie……so I really don’t know what to expect I am going into this blindfolded , but I am sure the Lord has a reason for why I am going I put my faith in him and my trust in Him.. and I am just going to go where he calls me to go…

I am so glad to hear that the girls camp went good,and the whole experience, cuz it sounds really good , mom just a lil tip I think I would do in that case is give Lupe a copy of the book of Mormon , and mark the part of the vision of the tree of life and let her read it and let her pray to the Lord about it , so she can fell it for her self that this is the church of the Lord … I think it will be good for her cuz as she is reading she will be remembering that whole experience at the camp…so I think it would be really good for her cuz she has already felt the holy ghost in her life with that experience.

As for dad I am really excited for him to be it the bishop ric now I am sure he is going to enjoy that calling to the fullest… mom the girl that you did meet is Karina, and yes she is pretty … and she did write me back awhile back ago , then I wrote her and she never wrote to me back both in letter and email, so I really don’t know what happen..think she may of gotten a boyfriend , no idea… one thing though is that I truly did enjoy that ward , you all are going to love tell every one there hello for me and that I am doing great down here in Argentina , and loving every min. of it…

Well family I truly do love this holy work of which I am doing and I know the lord has a reason for me to go down to Rosario for a reason. I think I did my part here in general lopez for the Lord , I just truly hope he is happy with the work of which I have done for him in this area.. family I love you all to death and I truly mean those words , I know each one of you has a part of my heart , and I owe everything to you all for all the help you have all given me in my mission and before , thank you all… for I know the Lord is here with us as we go by day by day in our lives , and that he is willing to bless us , in our times of need and when we don’t need it , for I know that this is probably going to be a big one at that to be serving in a new area so soon for him.

Family keep strong to the ways of the Lord. My biggest desire for you all , is that you continue to read your scriptures in your own study time I truly think in that little time of every day is the way the Lord did change me and create me of new to help me teach his children , for I know that his children are waiting for me I this new area , and I tell you what my family, I'm going to give it my all to preach the word of the Lord to his children…P.S thanks for the package and the new journal … I will enjoy it love you all

How are you all doing this week? I cant believe the number of priest that there is going to be now its so low… que cosa.. Well everything is going good I am speeking spanish a ful.. but there is a correctttion for you all I got to latins in the apartment and its me and E. chasity from woyming .. But any who we really just do speak spanish in the pinch. …. plus I have a personal meta to speak spanish this whole transfer .. so I am pretty excitied for that…

I can tell onr thing that I am not to excitied for is all this cold weather that is coming in.. man is it cold I must say … I have been wearing my trenchcoat all week. This past week it was kinda a bust cuz we had the electricty cuyt twice this past week and were left with power , heat in the casa… pretty cold must say.. but I know the lord is there to help us out in this this time of cold, if the missionaries that frist spread this gospel did it now days.. I ll be fine. So I really excited for this next trasnfer I must say.

So that’s how the mission is going right now. Great I must say. We are already working at full pase from the start from this tranfer. My comp, is from buenos aries , and has about 15 months in the mission. The whole pinch is farly young this tranfer. Which is really cool.. also he is coming from rosario a very nice area but the people are really hard hearted there. So he is pretty excited to be serving in this humble area in Sanea Fe… so we really want to do as much possible this transfer during this time for the lord in this area.

Family I must tell you all that I truly love this work for are god, even when its really cold outside , you learn to put yourself to work si o si , you learn to humble your self for the lord. Let me tell you and man does he bless you in the act each and every day , how great is it to be in this time of the lords work , to help dpread this great gospel to the lords childer who sre ready to hear it, or if they are not either way we are going to teach them lol. But this is truly thee best learning experence one could truly have in there young years to help them in the rest of there lifes… how greatful am I to be sering my dear lord in this holy work in argentina your these 2 years of my life, o and how fast does this time fly by I must say to you all… I love you all I want to tell ypu I know the thing of nwhich I amdoing are of the lord, to help his kingdom grow in the latter days..i know that you are the family of which I choose to share this time in my life with you all my beloved family. Mom and Dad you are the parents of which I choose to rase me in the times before this moment, I how greatful am I to have you both to look after me in my days how greatfuly honored am I to call you my Father and Mother Thanck you… To brothers and cosins, how thankful am I for each one of you to share the same house wih you thanks to my mom and dad, I learned many many thing from each one of you , you allhad a great part in my days of growing up , and thank ypu for all the things of which you all did teach me in my young days, to help me get on the stright and narrow path of the lord , to fix my path of wrong doings in my youth..
How luck am I too have each one of you as my family members to help me grow and fix mymrong doings… thank you for all… the chapter I would like for you all to read if you can this week would be of that great book of Alma Chapter 26 , I read it this moring and it just helped me so much it inspiried this letter today to you all right now … how great the power is in the scriptures , how great is this time in my life….

ALFAJOR FEST

Family,

How are you all doing? Its really good to hear from you all it s been awhile it seems like. Well everything in sant fe is going really good. Me and my comp are really good he is trying not to be trunky but everyone is making him really to that point. O by the way I did there is no way to put this easy I bought my comp a suit , but the thing is that he really needed on his pants were like 4 sizes to big his suits were really at the point of death , I just felt bad I did not want him to go home with such poor suts , I know I am suppost to by stuff for me but its what I felt I wanted to do with the money to help him feel better in his image so he could go home looking nic and sharp…

But as far as the work is going its going pretty good we found some people and few of them went to chruch this past week, but this next coming week we are going to be working really hard to get our goal for the transfer , of 12 programados , cuz the transfers ends this week so I wont be mailing you all tell Tuesday. Its so crazy how fast this time of the lord goes by in the mission ill already be on my 5th transfer so that’s pretty crazy just got to keep working hard for the lord, and just put my sholder to the wheel and keep pushing for the lord al the way through, tell the end. The great thing in the mission there is never nothing to be done , for the lord is always giving us work for him.

Sence this is the last week for my comp, we are doing something ALFAJOR FEST, in other words we have tons of Alfajors , which is like 2 cokies and in the middle is vinala , them chocalate warped al round it, and u put them in hot coco , and drink out off the alfajor we call it milking a moose… and we each do two por day…. Cuz its his last week in this country its really good lol

So that’s something a little different that we are doing in the south lol , the weather has been really hot this whole past week , but the weather man said it should cool down by the end of the week , but its just like El Paso they say one thing and some thing else happens , so will see…. And it really stinks cuz they pst a new rule saying that we have to be in suits so it makes it really , really hot…not suit weather lolo. Chruch was really good we had a lady in that we found this

past week , and I think she liked it , hopfuly she we will be there next week…but the spirit was strong the young kids always tell me to smile I think they like the way I smile or something…. Lol I am doing what you asked mom keeping a smile on my face…. So I am sending photos of the past baptism and when we went to walmart , and went we got to go to the beach, also it was a my district leaders birthday, so I made him a cake a huge one that cake was really heavy..lol chocalate and orange cake…. So the last photo is all the Alfajores that we are eating through out the week… lol

Hello how are all you doing? It was so good to hear you all last night , its been a long time from the last phone call. I can't believe that the next time I'll be calling you all I will have left to go is a year and two months! But that is still in the future so I just got to go by day by day in the Lords work so that I can truly do everything I need to do for the Lord each day of the mission. But it was a great time to hear you voices …Well like I said we had a baptism this past week and it went really well. We still have hopes in getting another one before my comp has to go home.. don’t know who but we are going to find him or her.. lol I love this work of which I am doing so much, it brings joy to my soul to help someone come closer to the Lord.. it’s a very lucky honor of which I have to do, this great and wonderful work for the Lord, in this land of South America. This week is also going to be a week of hard work, like I said last night over the phone, but to tell you the truth I am looking really forward to this next week to find some of the Lords children to teach this gospel to. That to me is one of the greatest parts of the missions , just cuz there is so many different ways to try and find people that are ready to hear the gospel…My scripture for the week: Si , en verdad en verdad os digo que si todos los hombres hubieran sido , y fueran y pudieran siempre ser como Moroni he aqui , los poderes mismos del infierno se habrian sacudido para siempre ; si , el diablo jamas tendria poder sobre el corazon de los hijos d los hombres. Alma 48: 17I love this scripture cuz it show us how strong Moroni actually was in his faith in his beliefs, all in the memory of his God, why should we not try to become more, as he did in his strong faith. There is nothing stopping us except our own self's , we just have to realize what it is that we want and put our heart to it and ask the Lord in high faith to help us in our time to get our goals, not just spiritual goals , but as temporal as well. The Lord is there to help us out always it is us that pushes him away from our lives , let us accept Him, and give Him the highest honor and well help us through out our times of need , as well as in our times of prosperity, for our Lord and God are there for us always…LET US EXCEPT HIM IN OUR LIVES AND FAMILIES. I just thought that little spiritual thought might help some of you all out in the next coming week, as it did help me this past week…but family I truly love you all to the core of my soul , I know that we do have the true church on the earth today , and we are members of this great and wonderful church today. Let us become united as a family and become stronger in the faith of our Lord , so that we can stand strong on our foundation of Jesus Christ, in this world of wickedness and chaos . Let us become as the Lord would want us to become in this world today as members of his true chruch…Family I love you all take care be strong , love and server one another, and remember if there is anything that you all need I am here don’t be shy to ask.. Hey how are you all. The work is going really good , but show its just been really hard for us to get progressing investigadores , but we have one baptisms this week a girl o 18 years of age.. so we are really excited, I must say. But me and the comp are really good , we are both doing really doing great on the book o mormon as are as the reading is going , but all in all we are doing good (de diez) lil of argentine slang lol , But everything is going really good , also mom I say don’t worry about I the girls will like the camp, I t sounds so good I wish I could join you all lol. So good to here that about the power o the holy ghost did or te bread or your all ssacerment, as fare as us we have a new experisen every day with it, it truly does come rom the lord. My faith grows everyday by so much each day its amazing how much the lords hand is in are life to help us each day. ( ..y ocurrio que los alento con sus palabras diciendo , Hermanos mios ,sed de buen animo ,y vayamos a buscar los rebanos ,y los recogeremos y los traeremos otra vez al abrevadero y asi preservaremos los rebaños del rey y no os matara… Y sucedo que salieron a buscar los rebaños , y siguieron a Ammon y corrieron con mucha ligereza y atajaron los rebaños del rey y los juntaron en el abrevadero otra vez… Alma 17: 31-32) i love this scripture cuz it makes you o good cheer . cuz it shows you that you can be of good cheer in point of are lifes even when we have death in front of us. It also tells us that we all need to work together in the lords holy work, from the members to the missionaries we are all in the lords work to ind the lords sheep ( rey ) he knows who they are we just got to listin to the voice o the lord on which children are ready to hear the gospel of the lord.. so its just my little thought for you all ….

But I know that tthis my lords holy work of which I am in , and that he does love us, that he is helping us in our daliy lifes , for he is there he knows all of us he did suffer for each one of us …

The weather is starting to get cold now its starting to drop in the temp. I don’t know how strong this winter is going to be but we will see in the futur. The wether does not botter me at all cuz I know that the lord will be there to help me through the thick and thin o the mission , for he does give us the protection of which we need , so I do give my trust to my lord in his great work.

Family be str5ong let your selfs trust in our god as Ammon does in the scripture above. For the lord will give us the guidence o which we need , through out our life , he wants us to do his will , so lets not hold it back , let us just progress it forward so that this gospel can go into places we yet cant go, so be strong have faith, give your selfs to prayer and fasting , and let the lords spirit fill are souls day to day , for each member of this chruch is a missionary , and a servent of the lord Let us send forth his work to and through the latter days , and be the saints of who the book of mormon prophets saw in the visions…

Hey family,

Hey how are you all doing this week? Everything down here in Argentina is going good we have some new investigators that have a lot o potetional in them so we are really excited in this great work ,to help souls come unto their god. Thanks mom or the money it really came in hand to get two of my shoes resouled cuz man did they need it . so its really nice to be walking with new shoes again. As are as the weather down here its been really rainy, and its starting to cool down , so we will see how the week to come will be. The new dog really cute good job picking her out dad. This past week went really good we were busy just running around to citas and trying to teach everyone. Also a great spiritual week as well , this past week we had Zone conference and was it a great conerence its are presidents second to last one he is going home next month, but the talk that was the best was his talk on the atonemet of Christ , it was really powerful, and man can you feel the spirit o the lord that day. It was agreat spiritual feast I might say lol

As fare as things are with me and my comp, we are doing great.. he toke on a task , a big one that the president asked him to do, and of course me being his comp, toke it on as well. So the task is this , he ha one month left in the mission so the president gave him this to read the whole Book o Mormon before the end o the transfer and it ends the 25 of May, also to read in Spanish as well.. I am loving this task. So the both o us have to read about 20 pages a day to meet are goal. I must say or being a person who did not like to read anything before the mission , some thing changed me inside , cuz now I hate putting books down to stop, and its even harder when it’s the book of Mormon. So the both of us have that going for us as well. The lord did do something to me I am not going to lie about it, and I thank him everyday for it..

Here is what I think on the matter.. For behold thus saith the lord God : I will give unto the children of man line upon line , precept upon precept , here a little there a little ; and blessed are those who hearken unto my precepts and lend a ear to my counsel, for they shall learn wisdom…. 2 Nephi 28 : 30

For my family have come across a change in my life and it all started by opening the cover of the book of mormon this book has a power that only comes from the heavens above , the spirit you feel as we read this book , is of the joy of the lord our god Jesus Christ. You can take out so much from every verse in the book of mormon and put your name in it instead of Nephi, Moroni , Alma,Helaman , Jacob. See what I mean there is a reson why this book is placed on this earth , in this time , we are the children of god and we are the saints that the prophets of the book of mormon talked about and saw in their visions. Why not live to what the lord wants us to be the latter day saints of the church of Jesus Christ, become the servents of the Lord, for it does not matter of the age which we are ,cuz we were all saved for this very time in the earth, to help others come unto our god. Let us give high pries to our god for revealing this scripture in these Latter Days… Thank you God As the God of Alma . For he is the same today , tomarrow , and forever. Family,

How are you all doing , i am doing great lol. Well the new comp. is E.Tatum and this is last transfer for his whole mission, there is a saying in the mission field saying that I am going to kill a elder cuz I have him for the last transfer. But we have a lot of hopes for this transfer he wants to go out strong. And we have a lot of potenional in this area that’s for sure I must say, in our area we just had a choque de furzea where all the elders in the zone go to one area and work in it for the night, and we found a lot of great people.. So the work looks really promising here in general lopez .

But the weather was a bit cold all week then at the end of the week it started to heat up again , like argentina cant make up its mind lol. But I did hear that this country has rough winters so will see what happens, in the next coming week. Thank you mom for the money its going to help me out in this nert coming week. So thanks you again mom. As far as what you told me about dad doing to the ranch that sounds like its going to be a great blessing to thoses poor cows in the ranch. But iam glad to see everything is going good with the family and babes. I am glad to see that they all have great healthand are going strong. Sorry for any erros in this e mail this key board is not all that great.

My family this work is the work of the lord and I can feel the lords hand in my life everyday of my life. I know that the lord is looking out over all of us as a family. Mom I loved the temple story, cuz I know that is something I plan on doing with my family, to be selled. That is such a true blessing of the lord that we have in our days. To go with our wife and be selled for the eternities and to life with our father in heaven. Is is something I have planned for my future lol. That’s so long away I shall focus on one thing at a time my mission.

Thank you mom for the advice it was really needed , that past few days I been finding my self thinking negative, so it was really needed, I don’t know what is going on but I am trying my hardest to keep thooses thoughts out of my head. But I am slowly fighting it. But all in all I have been praying to the lord to garnish my thouhts . And I know he is helping me day by day with it.

Family I love you all with all my heart and all my soul. I pray for each one of yo to have the health and spirit with you all to guide you in work. I know he is there with you all as he is for me don’t you all ever forget of his great love of which he has for all of us as one big family. Six Month Mark

Family,

How are you all its been a week already the time flys by so fast I must say I already hit the 6 month mark, I feel old in the mission now I must say. But it is time for the transfers and my comp is leaving me I was hopeing we would stay together another transfer, but he was bound to go he already had 6 ½ months in this area so it was a lot of time. And my new comp is Elder Tatum He is from Vegas is all I really know and this is his last trasnfer as a missionary so I am his last comp…. how crazy… But elder Erazo is going to Rafaela its still in Santa Fe . so I will still be able to see him at zone conference..

But this week was really good even though it few by, as far as are recent baptisms they all got confered a member of the Chruch of Jesus Christ of the latter Day Saints this past Sunday so that went really well. They all want to keep learning about the chruch so its really exciting to see there drive to learn more. As far as the weather here its starting to cool down to about 60-68 degrees which is about 20 – 26 degrees in celciuos . Also we are starting to put on the suit coats as we go out and work during the day. In reality its fine with me I always tened to like the cold more then heat, but I hearderd it gets really cold down here. My spritual leave is really high in the work , I feel good in what I am dong may spanish is coming along pretty good I believe , I truly do love this great and holy work it’s a true blessing to be in the most holy work of all the works , and in such a time as now with everything going on in the world today, I truly do believe the Lord waited with me for this time in which he needs me in his work as I need him in the work. I guess you can say we both need each other in this work, in other words we got each others backs lol… It does truly fel great that I don’t have to worry about any thing in life, but the gospel of Jesus Christ. What a great honor I have to preach this great and wonderful gospel that I always have takin for granted in the past, but then I think comes a point in every buddys life when they realize how great the gospel is …

But Mom and dad I have a quick question for you all.What was the temple of which you all got married? I want to say St. Geroge but I am not sure…. And the secound question is what was the date of which you all got married? Cuz I need to know for some thing lol love you all . Also mom I kinda runing low on some money, so please send what you want but any thing will truly help me out…. Please..

As far as I have been I love the mission life and I look forward everyday with a new smile in a postive atitude to help some one in need of this gospel. For after all it is what I have been called to do for this time in my life y not do it in the right atitude towards it. Thanks mom for help me be so up beat in the past it is reaally helping me out right now in this work. I look forward to this next transfer the lord wants me with this new elder for a reason , and I have heard a lot of good things about him from all the elders… My family thank you for always being there for me day by day through thick and thin , I truly do love in ways I cant write for all the acts of greatness which each one of you all have done in my life, I will always be in dedt to you all as my family .. I am always here for you all don’t ever forget I will start putting the ranch in my prayers that it maybe blessed with the the water from the heavens and that the animals my be that of good health. Hello from Santa Fe

Dear Family,
How are you all ? I am doing great this week. It went by really fast. This week I will be hitting my 6-mouth mark already 1/4 of the mission, it seems the more time you have in the mission the faster it goes. We did get to hear conference, we got to hear all of it , its great to hear the new prophet of the church. It was really great. We had a total of 12 of our investigators come to the conference and they seemed to really enjoy it , they did fell the spirit you could tell that they did. As fare as me and my comp its going really good , its kinda of crazy cuz we are already hitting the last week of are transfer this week, were does the time go...? Oh mom before I forget I received your Easter package that you sent me this week ... Thanks MOM Love you... The work is great the people that we have found this week have a lot of potential , so hopefully we should be getting all these people to be progressing this week.. but we still have a lot of work, the weeks for us just get full of work its crazy , I feel a small part of what dad feels every week, how does he do it?? But what helped us a lot this week was General Conference. One thing that I discovered this week was the burning testimony which I had as I was writing in my journal last night, the Lord just made it click for me last night as I was writing ,it was a great moment for me to truly understand this work. This gospel is the true church , I know I am doing the thing of which the Lord wants me to do in my life, I have felt His love and joy in my soul and have felt His love for his children in these past days. I just want to truly become what the Lord wants me to become during this time in my life so I can truly become a tool in His hands... And I know if I keep doing what He ask of me my time will come.. One thing I really have gotten into the past few weeks that I have been here has been cooking , me and my district leader Elder Kebler just keep cooking food lol, its funny to see us..Mom I have a favor of you.. Please... Its to find a cook book for me. The one elder Kebler has is great its called ..Better Home and Gardens New Cook Book... its a great cook book, but in reality any cook book will do for me lol ... Family I can't tell you how much I love you all , you all are a bunch of great people , all doing the will of the Lord I can tell you all that you all now have new families of your own, how great the ability to say that I have a son of the Lord in my hands , I truly look forward to that day to where I can hold my own son some day , keep strong my family raise them in the right don't let Satan come close to them treasure these moments while you have them cuz sooner than you know it they will be writing you as I am doing right now.. My family let the gospel and the spirit of the Lord fill your house , let it dwell with you day by day, teach the gospel don't keep them from this great gospel take them to church even on days you don't feel strong enough for it , just remember that you will help one of the children of the Lord grow as you go .. just do it for there good. Let them become stronger in the church stronger then us in the church, let the Book of Mormon fill there life. Let them know, my family, that this book was saved for the last days, these days! Don't hide it from them ... my family I know this is kinda of strong but something told me to say it from with in. This is my one desire for you all back at home ... and don't worry I know this can go for me as a missionary as well. Let us help the children of the Lord together....I love you all to the depths of my soul be strong...

Six Baptisms This week Family!!!!!!!!!

Family how are you all doing? this week went really well and really busy lol.. but this week we did get our baptisms in. It went really well... but I kinda lied about 3 we ended up getting 6 into the waters of baptism. It went really well, to tell you the truth I still can't believe that it really happened , its more like some thing you read in the Book of Mormon the old great stories about the missionaries in the Book of Mormon.. But to tell you the truth you really can see how the Lord puts all his children in front of your path, who ever says that God is not there any more for his children I tell you they lack a lot of faith cuz the Lord is here with us day by day .... this week was a great week we were really busy the whole week just trying to get everyone prepared for the water.. we had a total of 12 investigators in church, which was a total shock I am not going to lie it totally blew me out of the water lol . Before I forget thank you mom for sending me the money, its going to be a great help for the box... also I sent you some pictures I hope you all get them I pray that you all do.... also there is a picture of a my District Leader Elder Keybler from Idaho... and me we just finished baking a cake we got a lil board on Pday lol... As fare as myself I am doing great I ask the Lord day by day for strength to keep me healthy in his work , and to keep me focused on his work, and giving thanks to him in much fasting and prayer in the miracles that He is doing in my mission ... but down here in Santa Fe its been pretty hot ,its rained like once this week , but other then that its been hot I cant wait for it to cool down...But as far as the pictures you all sent me the babies look so different I cant believe how much they have grown... its crazy but they all look good and I cant believe that Stone is already walking that kinda does not surprise me though as much as that kid is alert. but all of the familes looks really good , and Props to Cliff on getting in to the new Masters program , Cliff keep it up don't ever give up just remember that the Lord is there to help you out. Just get on your knees and ask Him to help you out in your situation , He is always listing.....That can kinda go for all of us there are times in our life when we do forget the Lord , but just start remembering all your blessings in your life then you will start to remember of our great Lord has done for us... never forget the power of prayer and the great wonders of what it can do... Mom and Dad I cant believe it 30 years, but you all have a lot to be proud of in your life time sent kids on missions and been through a lot I kinda wish I was there with you all back home but I think you would all rather have me here in the Lords work.... SOrry family time is short , its crazy how fast it goes .... I love you all keep strong, as will I.....

Going Well in Santa Fe

Family,
How are you all my beloved family? This week went pretty well in Santa Fe, we had a lot of exito!!!!! lol We had a baptism but it was not one of our investigators it was a child in the ward. We did have a total of 7 of our investigators in the church this week.. It went really well. The bishop asked me to give a little talk for Sacrament meeting, I shared the story that is found in the book of John 14 that is when Jesus is walking over the sea, and Peter tried to but fell into the sea and he asked Jesus to save him, and Jesus extended his hand and got him out, I talked on how our life today is the same and how Jesus every day is putting His hand in our lives and we just need to take the time to realize it. So that is what I chose to talk about for a lil bit. I did get the package this week and I loved it, the candy the gum , etc music all the good stuff....thanks , but there is a down side to the news about the box and that is that I have to pay like $158 pesos for it cuz of the new law or thing going on in the customs office, so mom I really do need you to put some money in the account so that I can pay that fee.... please cuz I have to pay the mission home back cuz they payed it for me and now I have to pay them back.. and from now on on all the package that you all send I have to pay what ever amount is on the box multiplied by 3 for pesos.... so that is the real killer I cuz I love getting the packages...sorry mom....As fare as the work here in Santa Fe its great I love every min. Of it. As fare as the weather its been really hot... tell Saturday then it rained like all day, but right now its very hot again, even hotter when you play soccer each p day lol, but its all good. As fare as the Spanish its coming along better each and every day, but that is not the thing I am worried about, I know the Lord will help me out as long as I keep studying it day by day and the comp is helping me out.. As for me and him we get along great, man can he play soccer really good... we are waiting on three baptisms this week... Its going to be for Nilfa, Norma, and Diego. The people of whom I told you of last week, so that's who we are really going to be focusing on this whole week... so we are really excited for them.So family that's how your son and your lil brother is doing in the mission life, that sentence sounds weird to me cuz I remember when I was looking forward to hear from my older brothers when they were on their missions, and now I am on mine... how crazy it is and how fast the time does fly ...its toooooooo fast lol . well family it truly is a great time to be a servant of the Lord day by day , you just wake up with the greatest opportunity to preach to the people in Argentina the greatest message they will probably hear in there lives , How great is that!!! I love this work way so much. I tell you my beloved family that this is truly where I want to be in my life , to preach the gospel day by day, to tell people of how Jesus Christ is the true (Christ) how great!!!!!! But family I love you all and continue to be strong in the gospel for this is the true gospel , why else would I be preaching it...Got To go love you please don't forget to send the money mom what you see fit...

hey family

how are you all doing .. well i am doing prety good over here in santa fe the weather has been really hot and sunny, but there was one day that was a lil bit cloudy. as fare as the other elders we are doing really great we all have the same desire and that is to help the others that the lord has choicen for us to get and to save them.. as for the package i have not recived it , cuz tom. is our zone conference , and thats when i will get it if its here. sorry

But this week down here was a good week , we had a total of 60 people in chruch and a total of 5 of our investigators in the chruch this week.. this week we can across two realy great people that did go to chruch with us this week.frist we need to back track a lil bit to the frist couple days i was here in sants fe, me and my comp e. erazo were walking down a street and we saw a lady caring so heavy bags , and we felt the urge to help her carry her bags, so we stopped her and asked if she needed any help, and she took are help, sowe took her bags to her house and made sure she did not need anything else, also we explained to her who we where and what it is that we are doing, and she said to come by some time, so we set up a cita with her for the following week... when we went back to her house this weekwe started to talk to her and her daughter, and eound out that they had been praying for the lords help to find the right chruch... and in her words she said that me and my compa were two agnles to help her find the way so we invited them to chruch and they loved it , so were going to be working more and more with them this week... can you talk about a blessing in the work, to come across her like that.. not only was in a answer to our prayers but also to hers... for my beloved family i love this work and i know that there is a reason why i am here in argentina ... for each day goes by and i learn something new day by day either by the lord and spirt, or by my compa, or our investigators.... the lord has called me for a reason to serve him here

Two Angels

hey family,

frist of i ll tell you that i did not grt the package yet, cuz zone conference is tomarrow and if it is in that is the time i will get it. so i will be able to tell you next week for sure... but everything here is been going really well. the food is great , i have no complait yet about it, i love it as far as the weather its been most of the time hot, but there was a day in the week in which it was overcast, which made it really nice for the days work. As for all of us elders were all getting along pretty well we all have the same purpose and thats to help as many people as we can , and you can see that all of us have this desire in our heart, cliff is write it is a great time to learn from other elders. as far as the new ward its great this week we had a total of 60 people in the chruch,and a total of 5 of our investigators with us also.
this week was great we found two new investigators they really seem to be ready for the gospel, it goes back to the frist couple of days that i was here in santa fe , we saw this one lady caring a lot of bags of food so elder erazo and i decided to help her out with them, so we took the bags to her house and explained to her who we where and what are purpose is, so we set up another cita up with her this week.... so to make the long story short we went to her house and started to talk to her and it turns out that she had been praying for help to find what path was for her , and what temple was for her.... a lil bit later here me and my compa are, she called us in her owe words 2 angles sent to her to help her out, and yesterday she was at chruch her , her dauther and nephew... so that was a great great time this week, her and her daughter were the answer to our prayers, or more like we were to her prayers.. family ilove this great work of which i am doing now in my life, i know for a fact that this is were the lord wants me in my life... for i truly do love this great time in my life,and i know the lord is molding me into his tool, to help his childern...
so the life of a mission is great to ones owen soul i know it is for it has changed mine o ooooooooooo so much, all for the better..
my family please keep strong to this great and wonderful gospel, the lord put it back on this earth for a reason ... let us rejoice i this great time in our lifes .. I love you all with all my heart o so much keep bing the great people of who you are i love you all and thank you for everything...

how are you all family.. to tell you the truth this area is great i have a lot of energy to work in the north part of santa fe..as far as my comp e. erazo we are geating along really well we bith want the same thing for this area, exito... he is also trying to learn english so were both helping each other out in the language..lol as for the chruch here it is a lot bigger all the members are great they really are in chruch this week there was around 60 people a whole alot more then federal , as far as if the food is any different its not really, its just a lot cheaper.. also a really great thing here is that we have lunch citas 6 days of the week, so i really dont have to cook all that much here.. the weather has been kinda off frist couple of days it was kinda worm , and the past few days its been really cloudly.... and overcast. as fare as the package i did receive one from dear elder for st. patricks day full of goodies thanks mom ... but as far as my coat nothing of that.. but ill keep u posted cuz in about two weeks we got zone conference and most likely ill get it then...also mom i am going to do what you asked me to do in the hand writen letter.. ill send it with this e mail.. but the apartment is really good its a total of four of us in the house two from mexico and the others are e. keybler and i... but we are all getting along really well...

family i love you all o so much thanks for be there with me and helping me out when i neededd you , and parnets dont work you all did a great job with me dont worry about any thing you all have helped me out so much through out my life...i owe alot to you all and ia m ever in deted to you o so much ..

How are you family, this week was pretty good except for all the rain we had all week, so the work was kinda slow but busy at the same time..well family i have some thing to tell you all i am leaving this small town of Federal i take the lord is happy with the work which i have done here, cuz now he has called me to a new area of Santa Fe Norte, so i am leaving this small town and going to the big city....and now i am going to have a Latin comp...E. Razo i heard that he is from Mexico. So i really don't know how to see but the lord has called me there and i know he will provide me the way i need. But i shall miss this small town that i started in..i just found out like a couple of min ago that i was leaving....but as to mom thank you for all the advice it truly does help out when you put a smile on your face cuz even in times that your not happy and you smile it does make you happy cuz you realize how important the message is that we carry with us... so it always makes me happy thats so true..also i did receive the package on Val. day and wow did i enjoy it mom... as for me now i am a new age i can say that this next year to come i shall give all that i can to help each and all the souls here in argentina... for the lord called me here for a reason , and i shall give him my soul and heart in his holy work. So i have high hopes for the twenty year of my life here in the mission.. for the lord shall provide me the way to serve him, i know for he has helped me so much day by day of my mission so far. And to tell you the truth family it all started when i opened the cover to my little Red Book of Mormon, that book is thee words of our god our savior , to guide us in these latter days , my testimony of that book grows each and every day as i continue to study it ... we should all study and read this book as if there was no other book on the face of the earth... for it is the most correct book on the earth.. for i know it is... my soul has great joy in this book.. for my family i tell you thank you for all the help each one of you have been in my life,you all are my family for a reason i know for a fact that the lord and i wanted you all as my brothers and sister for a reason , and for the parents i am sooooooooooo ever thankful for you and how you all have helped me......you all deserve the best from your younger brother, and i shall give you my all as the lil brother and the last of the family, i know there is a reason that i am the last of the family to help you out with all i have so please don't be sacred to ask me for anything.but time is close so thank-you for all i love you with all my soul and heart keep strong in the teachings of our god as shall i and let us grow together as a family...and let us share our joy with the children of our god day by day...mom i would like to have the address to your dads house so that i may write to him please it is the only thing of which i ask this week...thanks again for the money mom , and of course your love that i can fell each and every day as i go out to work

Dear Jessup Family,
Well family it feels really good to be writing you this week. It’s just good to write the family a letter.
Well it was good to hear that everything is going good thru your e-mails. It’s so crazy that I got a new nephew named Luke, but I laugh cuz I think there will be one more before I get back home or maybe even two! J It’s so crazy to see how much our family has grown!
But I tell you my family this mission is amazing for me. I have learned so much day by day, my whole out look on life is changing, and o tell you the truth it’s changing the way the Lord wants it to change. It’s so great to be part of the Lords army, in these latter days. To bring to pass a great work of God, How can one not truly believe that there is a God and a Savior who has died for us, it just puts me in complete awe on how much the Lord has done for my life ever since day one of my life and from day one of my mission. For the Lords hand is in our life each and everyday, we just have to take time and notice it each and everyday. I stand with a testimony of our Lord and the miracles of which he performs everyday. My life has changed so much ever since I have started to study the scriptures each and every day. I now have the strength which I lacked, the Lord has made my weak points my strong points now and I tell you my family it has changed my life. It would be a sin for me not to testify of the blessings of the Lord. It has been through small and single things that change has come to me

Family I know everything of which I said to be true in all my heart, that I am here for a reason in Argentina. That these are people waiting for me here. This mission has been a true blessing in my life day in and day out.
This week was a little different cus this past week, my self-esteem has been under attack it feels like. I hate to say but my companion uses words that a missionary should not be using, like he is always name calling to people who really don’t do anything and it just gets ugly sometimes, then he does it to me. It’s just not a way a missionary should be acting. I think its like he can’t leave the old life behind him, But there was a few times he said some stuff to me so It just brought me down a little this week, but I am doing everything I can to find joy each and everyday of my life in this holy and great work of the Lord. I know if I keep asking for the help of the Lord he will help me out when I truly need it. But I’m just going to keep going forth in the work an try to find all he joy of the mission life I can and I know find it along with the love of the Lord. I shall not be one to complain for I will remain strong in what I know to be right.
My heart burns with a desire to do he will of my God, for these next 20 months of my mission, I know if I work diligence and knowledge I shall be helped in my life and in His work. I am honored to have this time to give to my Savior.
For you all, my beloved family, I thank you all so much for all your support which you give me and I shall work hard to make you proud of your lil bro, your youngest son, and your cousin, anything you want to call me, I will make the Jessup name proud. I love you all to the depth of my heart.

Working with the Zone Leader in Concordia

Wow family I have so much love for you all I cant help but cry when I read the e mails from you all...>Well this week went pretty well, harder at points in time to get along with the comp, but all is well in the service of my God. This week we got to have divinsions , so I went to Concordia and worked up there with the zone leader E. Reynolds who is going home at the end of this transfer, but wow did I learn so much from him I knew that the Lord had something to do with that. He wanted me to work with him for a reason, I just learned so much from a elder with that much time...> to Cliff thanks for the email , and yes Stone has grown much... and the answer to your question of writing in a journal.... I write a entry every night... I make sure and do that ... but family i have grown so much ,on one day of this past week I felt the strongest urge to fast, so I did as I felt and I tell you family around that day in midday, I offered a prayer as nephi in 2nephi did in chapter 4 and i have never felt the spirit of the lord so strong in a prayer , after I finished my prayer I felt that I had just finished talking to my Lord as if he was in the room with me and we talked face to face... the spirit I must say over whelmed my soul and i did feel the love and joy of the savior in my soul...>my family I know this new year that is to come I know shall be that of good cheer , and joy and of the pure love of Christ....i know the Lord has much in store for me this next coming year I fell it each day as I serve...> family thank you for all your great help that you all have done to me, I know this wed. will be difficult. cuz I am not with you all ... but I know am in Argentina where the Lord wants me... so on this day lets not joy in man but lets rejoice in our Lord and give unto him what He has given to us ... for this gospel is a great reason to rejoice....>> thank you mom dad and family , thank you for the package I am sure ill get it with time... thank you for the money.... it humbles me how much you are willing to do for me... and always remember that I am wanting to serve you as my family as well so let me know what it is that i can do for you all....>>love you all to the depths of my soul>>Serving the Lord our God

Four Month Mark

beloved family how are you all doing? this week was a good week out in the field , a lot of work but thats are jobs as missionaries lol. But mycompanion and i did find a new person named alejandro, who had the missionaries teach him, but the gave up on him , and now he really seems to be ready for this gospel right now, so i am really looking forward to work with him and his family. Thanks mom for putting in the money in my account . As far as me getting the box it would be no, but tomorrow my comp and i are traveling to Parana for zone conference, so if anything ill get it tom. so i will let you know in the next coming week if i have got it. So also all this week it has been a huge music festival here, so a lot of out of towner came to federal, the music is called chamame, which is lie folk music, its not to bad its kinda like their country for the campo, also the weather down here has been lots and lots of water rain every where, i have already be poured on twice this one transfer..lol As far as the printing of photos i could but they will come out in black and white, so just send them to me i could wait...lol as far as i i am doing pretty good i am feasting upon the scriptures so much i am trying to read all the standard works , and also the mission library, but am i learning so much i truly love everything that i am learning. my mind has left the world behind and focused on the mission i truly do love this great and holy work.. i know for a fact that the lord is working with me , for i have discovered more love and peace in our life , through the mercy of the lord, it is truly amazing, i have felt this great joy fill my soul, through prayer and fasting its amazing of what one soul may feel . for i do believe with all my heart that this is where i am to be in my life..... also yesterday was the 4 month mark lol. time flys... its crazy where the time goes... also mom your advice about being positive could not have come at a better time. for i have set a personal goal for myself this week to see more joy in this great work, thanks mom u know how to hit the heart of your son.... thank you..also thank you family for the great examples you all are of great latter day saints, you have thought me all in so many ways the list is to long to type... but my family everything is fine with me for am in the hands of the lord and i can feel it day by day , and see it as well, and i am sure you all can fell it as well.... thank you all for being great examples to me of great later day saints, and thank you for being my family....i love you all to the depths of my soul and heart... P.S. mom could you please send me the coat soon ,cuz my comp told me the winters get really cold here. also some more socks maybe a lil thicker ones.... please some proactive cuz my face is breaking out, and that stuff is really pricy here, and last is that i bought a cd player cuz we can listen to music here, so like church music, and EFY music we can listen to and maybe like conference talks to..... but other then that thats all, or just instrumental music works tooThank you all so much , i love you all

Some Mission Goals

hey family,

How are you all doing , ''what's new in life.lol well i am still in federal argentina, but now with a new comp. named elder Brown, he is from a small town in Nevada called Pioche which is a small farming town, he said he has been to the Beaver area of Utah, so i meet some one who knows where Beaver is at lol. so he is my new comp for the next transfer which it going to be my second one lol , so really i just have been helping him get used to this are, he says it makes him miss home just cuz Federal is a huge rancher and farm area.

With this email am sending so pictures of the baptisms that we had around two weeks ago. lol its of two kids named Juan Manuel and Juan Martine Crespo. and the other photos are of the family Crespo is all and their kids. But its crazy to think of how fast time is starting to fly by as a missionary. but i am doing the best to make every minute of my mission worth it , for me and theses people here in argentina, for it is them that i a am serving, and most important is that i am serving

lord and i don't want to waste his time at all . so thats why i am doing everything that i can to serve my lord, if i have any dead time i am always studying and reading, i have just started today to read all the standard works, someone told me that if you read a chapter a day in each one of the works you can have them done in 18 months, so i decided to put that one to the test and see if it is true. as well i am starting to read the mission library . that we have. but the people here are doing good we are still trying to work with the padres of family crespo but its hard cuz they have a different. schedule to work around..and we are also working with Ricardo, and want to try and get him in the water this transfer, is my person goal and i know the lord wants him to , for that man has great potential in this great church. but family i love you with all my heart and i pray for you each and every day, i hope you all are doing well and in good health , and i pray that you may all have the spirit of the lord to guide you each and every day. i love you all to the depths of my heart and soul, for you all thought me how to become the person i am , and i thank you all for helping me lose myself to the lord and this holy work of his , you all are a keystone in my life and for always, for eternity , i will love you all for that long as well, and if you ever need anything from me it would be my honor to serve my family. Be strong family just turn to our lord if you all are ever going in rough times or need simple help, i testify in the name of the lord that he is always there for his children, and that he does answer our prayers,day in and day out, i tell you the suffering of his son is a real thing it truly happened, so that we can life with our father after this great life, but yet it us to decide our out come , let us life the laws of our god , as the family of which we are, i testify that our lord is there for us as a family in our times of need , and of joy, i give to you all my beloved family my blessing upon your lives in the most holy name of JESUS CHRIST amen....

P.S. New Companion

Wow thats a cute picture of stone lol...But i am sorry for last week, what happenend was that i worte you a letter and the computer kicked me off the web so i did not have know time to rewrite another email sorry family for that. But i do have good for you all this week that we ended our transfer with two baptisms it was to kids named Manuel who i baptized and Martin who my comp baptized, but the joy one feels on a baptism is unbelievable, and the i had to confirm him a member as well on sunday. so i helped someone come closer to christ and now i am going to start working on the family of the two kids, but its a great joy family that i feel each day in this holy work, as far as the transfer my comp is leaving me and going to another area and i am staying here, and my new comp is going to be Elder Brown , don't know anything about him so il meet him tomorrow . in Concordia.. my family i love you all so much and thank you for all the help that you all give me each and every day, i truly feel like a missionary in this most holy work and i know that it is through my obedience and faith that the lord will bless me in his holy work. i must obey amen 2 Nephi 33 15 for i know the lord is helping me out each and every day , i can feel his presence in his work as i walk in the streets day by day, and i will live my mission to the fullest every day , and waking up each day saying what can i do today better my mission and my life, and its such a great joy of happiness in my soul that i know its from my father in heaven. and i do all this work in memory of my god...etc ,...alma 46 12 for it is my lord that i want to please at the end of my mission, for he is our saviour for all our life and eternity..... i know i am doing this work to change my life and the life of others..I love you all to the depths of my soul,in the most holy name jesus christ amen.

The Mission is Going Good

the mission is going good this past week was a good one , we have a total of three bap, schuled for this week , for this sat, the 12 they are two twins manuel and martin, we got to finish getting them ready but we try and work with them everyday, and he other is a man named ricardo, and the biggest dobht that he has is that he thinks the sabbeth day is on sat. but he also still needs a testimony of the book of mormon , and of jose smith, but we get to them everyday , and we trust in the lord that he will help us in his most holy work , and yes i still have to teach at chruch which is fine with me its in service to the lord, i know for a fact that this is where the lord wants me to be, and i love him with all my heart so i must serve him with all the strenght that he gives me in his holy work as fare as getting ther money i trried this past week, and still read zero, i think the money is in there but it does not show it in the atm, a elder was telling me that there was a elder with the exact same problem so he just had to keep track of what he was pulling out, so i think i may have to do the same. and debs and cliff for the emails they helped me out a lot , with the story cliff said about the guy who had to push the rock, i know that i still have a lot a head of me and i know its going to be tuff so i just got to put my sholder to the wheel and push on with the lords work cuz i truly want to become a man o god , and i know what he needs me to do... i love you all to death , and with alll the depths of my heart. sorry about no pics ..love you alll making my family proud

First Email

hey mom today is may frist p day so its the only time i had to write back , thank you for the money i use it wisely , i hope you are able to get this email. but sorry about not calling you when i was travling i for got to bye a calling card at the mtc.. my falt sorry, but just a lil bit more and ill be able to hear your voices again. so thats pretty exciting... its so crazy that its already going to be christmas. time flyes when you have fun. But Argentina is a really cool place it kinda reminds me a lot of mexico but extremly green.. its so differant from the states i will say though. well i aravid in Rosario tuesday of last week at the mission home and meet the prez, really great person he is truly lost in this great work. But i stayed there for a total of two days tell my zone leaders came and picked me up during mission conference, elder richerds and elder renyolds, they been here around 20-23 mouths so it was really great to talk to them. then once we got together we took a 7 hour bus ride to a city called Concordia and arrived around two in the moring. and thats were i meet my comp. Elder Rowley who is my trannier he has been serving about 19 mes. then from there we got up at 6 in the moring to catch a bus at 7 to take to my frist area Federal... its the very north part of the whole mission.. so about after 29 hours of travling i got to my frist area. this area its kinda smaller area of all the mission, and its only my comp and i to this whole little city.. so its a lot of work which i am really happy for. Its a big difference from the states in so many ways and in other ways it reminds me of home. but the people are really cool here really friendly like most lations. the sh for ll in spanish is throughing me off .. i just have to get used to it.. but it will come with the gift of toungs ... but the good thing is that a lot of argentions are telling me that i speek better spanish then my comps previse companions . so there is som good news lol ... but i love you all and i trying to do everything i possibly can to serve the lord i know he will help me in this great work ... mom important i am pretty sure that you all are in moutain standar time which is a four hour difference from us , but if your not in mount. tim zone please let Hna Hutch. know asap email her so she can let me and my comp know. but call this number at 9 30 your time and the number is 01154-3454-422-686 it may take awhile to get through just letting you know. and you all will be calling me around 1 30 here just to let you know love you all familly be strong, i pray for you day by day , keep strong in the chruch i know the lord is lookin out over you all, and i know that my redemer lives and that we must strive to live the comandments day by day of our lives and i know the lord will bless us day by day if we follow him.... sorry i forgot usb cable next time ill try to send photos love you all Elder Jessup
